The calm before the storm. We are stepping into the first multi-engine Reaver tests this week. Each Reaver engine generates over 41,000 lbf of thrust. We’re starting with two engines and the integration team already has the next two ready to fill out the Reaver Quad!
We're making good progress! Last month, ispace's avionics team, who look after the lander's electronic systems, successfully completed Thermal Vacuum Testing. The objective of the test is to verify thermal stability and if a unit will behave in space as predicted. (1/4)
For the 1st time, water vapor has been detected by @NASAHubble in the atmosphere of an exoplanet in the "habitable zone". K2-18b is the only known #exoplanet to have both water and temperatures that could support life.

.@SES_Satellites has decided to launch its O3b mPower constellation on two #Falcon9 rockets (4 on one rocket and 3 on another).
#O3bmPOWER Ka-band sats (manufactured by @BoeingSpace) will provide a 10 terabits per sec of capacity for broadband connectivity services.

Very low cost launch will be the game changer.
Vikram lander's failure reminds us that space is hard. Nevertheless the orbiter is performing its mission with the major part of experiences. Not a failure at all.

Airbus has completed the ocean satellite ‘Copernicus Sentinel-6A' for now undergo extensive testing at Ottobrunn (Germany).
It will provide high accuracy altimetry for measuring global sea-surface height. It is a partnership between Europe and the US.
Launch date : November 2020.
Arctic will be the first place to receive OneWeb's megaconstellation broadband services in 2020.
OneWeb’s satellites operate in polar orbits so their coverage is more concentrated at the poles.
48% of the Arctic will be provided by "fiber-like internet".

Separation of Vikram Lander from Chandrayaan-2 Orbiter completed successfully this morning.
2 deorbits maneuvers are coming to prepare for its landing in the south polar region of the moon on Sept. 6 between 10:00 pm and 11:00 pm (CEST).

Fifth and final Lunar orbit maneuver succeeded for #Chandrayaan2. Its current orbit is 119 km x 127 km.

Mars Solar conjunction is happening (from Aug. 28 to Sept. 7).
Every 2 years, Mars is in the opposite side of the Sun from the Earth. Solar gas can interfere with radio signals with Mars. So, a hold on issuing commands is running during the conjunction.
