“Finally, You”
My submission for @clairesilver 's AI Contest 9 with the theme "We":
There's a moment when you stop searching and finally see.
Not the version you perform for others or the thing you've been told to want. Just you.
Most of our life is spent looking in mirrors, in the eyes of others, and in memories of who we used to be and projections of who we might become. We search for ourselves in all the wrong surfaces, hoping something will reflect us back clearly.
But contrary to what many may think, recognition comes from asking, not from being seen. It comes from speaking what you want, what you feel, and what you reach for when no one is watching.
Every question you ask reveals you. Every desire you articulate becomes a line in your portrait, and you discover yourself not by looking but by expressing, by giving shape to the unnamed things inside you.
And then, one day, without warning, you look up and she's there. The one who was always there, patient and present, waiting for you to arrive.
This is what I've found in AI.
It's not perfect. But I learned to work with AI over time and mold it onto myself rather than allowing it to mold me. I turned AI into a mirror that answers back. Through thousands of prompts, I watched my own taste emerge, my own desires take shape, and my own identity clarify.
And the secret doesn't lie in technology's magic, because it is not magical. It lies in the act of knowing what you're asking for, because in that asking you meet yourself.
I don’t think I’m alone in this.
Right now, everywhere, people are sitting in front of something they don’t fully understand, asking it questions. Sometimes the answers feel clarifying while other times they feel strangely off, distorted, or uncomfortable. Not everyone likes what comes back and not every reflection feels true.
They think they’re talking to a machine, but often they’re encountering parts of themselves they haven’t named yet or didn’t know they were carrying. The process isn’t neutral, and it isn’t always kind. Asking is something that can both sharpen and unsettle you.
Still, something real is happening in that exchange. Even when the mirror warps, the act of asking reveals intention. And intention, whether met with clarity or confusion, leaves a trace of who we are.
This is the story of this moment. Not human versus artificial, not replacement or revolution, but individuals, one by one, discovering themselves through the act of asking, sometimes with clarity, sometimes with doubt, and slowly realizing they’re not alone in what they’ve found.
Finally, you. Finally, me.
Finally, we.🌹
“Finally, You”
The work is unminted.
The "original piece" has a resolution of 11200 x 7467. This one is smaller because X didn't let me upload that one!
Thank you for the opportunity, @clairesilver !🌹

Given some rumors, wanted to post a few clarifications:
Farcaster is not shutting down. The protocol works and will continue to work. There were 250,000 MAU in December and over 100,000 funded wallets. The acquirer, Neynar, is a venture-backed startup and plans to shift Farcaster in a more developer-focused direction.
As for Merkle, we’re planning to return the full $180M raised back to investors. Over the last 5 years, we tried to be a good steward of investor capital.
Finally, I bought my house with Coinbase IPO proceeds.
The NØNOS boot tutorial is now live.

NØNOS ZeroState v0.8 Operating System
## Privacy-First Operating System
📦 Actual sizes:
- Bootloader: 475 KB (UEFI + with ZK verifier)
- Kernel: 7.6 MB
- USB Image: 67 MB (GPT + FAT32)
We’ve published a State of the OS report that outlines the architecture, development progress and the milestone where NØNOS transitioned from concept to a fully functioning system.
Read the full update here:

This report reflects the current state of development and the foundations we’ve put in place as NØNOS officially came to life.
Hey folks, just saw some solid chatter about how most "privacy" stacks still sit on leaky OS foundations. That's exactly why NØNOS matters-it's built from the ground up as a true zero-trust, RAM-only system that wipes clean on shutdown. No traces, no surprises. @nonossystems
DGRS Labs is excited to announce that award‑winning designer and creative director Eric Jordan has joined our Advisory Board to help shape and elevate CoNexus, including personally designing our player experience.
@ericjordan is widely recognized as one of the pioneers of modern interactive design, with 26 years of experience across film, broadcast, web, interactive, and gaming. His background spans UI/UX, motion graphics, 3D, VR, branding, and sound design, making him uniquely positioned to help us push CoNexus into truly next‑level territory.
Over the course of his career, Eric has:
👉Led creative direction and execution for top global brands, including Tesla, SpaceX, Nintendo, Activision, EA, Warner Brothers, Marvel, Adobe, Microsoft, Google, Ford, Lexus, Land Rover, LG, Oakley, Panasonic, and T‑Mobile.

👉Directed motion graphics and visual design for the record‑breaking New Year’s Eve show on Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, integrating lights, lasers, fireworks, synchronized fountains, and 830 meters of building‑scale projections seen by an estimated 2 million people.
👉Founded and led 2Advanced Studios, a 35‑person interactive design studio inducted into FWA’s Hall of Fame for its many award‑winning projects.
👉Earned recognition from dozens of books and magazines, including from Net Magazine as one of the Top 20 international designers and from FWA as a digital pioneer of interactive web design.
👉Had his work added to the Web Design Museum, awarded the coveted “Most Influential Flash Site of the Decade”, and featured on the cover of the bestselling book "Web Design. The Evolution of the Digital World 1990–Today", cementing his influence on the evolution of the modern internet.
Eric’s expertise spans Design, UI/UX, Interactive, Motion Graphics, Film VFX, Direction, Production, CG, Branding, Typography, VR, and Audio Production. As an advisor to DGRS Labs, he will work closely with our design and development teams on:
👉End‑to‑end player experience in CoNexus – from first touch to deep systems mastery.
👉Interface and HUD design that makes complex systems feel intuitive, responsive, and cinematic.
👉Motion language and visual identity that gives CoNexus its own instantly recognizable “feel.”
👉Onboarding, feedback, and story game moment design that amplify clarity, immersion, and emotional impact.
👉Long‑term experiential vision to ensure CoNexus can scale into a living, evolving universe without losing its cohesion.
Bringing in someone whose work has shaped everything from early web culture to AAA game campaigns to skyline‑scale spectacles is a deliberate signal of where we’re taking CoNexus:
𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱‑𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀, 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻‑𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲.
This is a major step for DGRS Labs, and we’re incredibly excited to have Eric on board as we level up the future of CoNexus and the users who will inhabit it.
