समय एक जैसा किसी का और कभी भी नहीं होता।

हम सभी के जीवन में समय का बड़ा महत्व है ! जिसने जीवन में समय के महत्व को जान लिया उसका जीवन सफल हो गया ! मनुष्य को समय के साथ चलना पड़ता जो समय के साथ नहीं चला वह पीछे रह जायगा !अच्छा व् बुरा समय हरेक के जीवन में आता है जिसने बुरे समय पर विजय प्राप्त कर ली वह हमेशा यशस्वी होता है ! जिसने बुरे समय को अपने उपर हावी होने दिया वह व्यक्ति उपर नहीं उठ पायेगा ! समय बहुत चंचल है अच्छा हो या बुरा ज्यादा समय किसी के पास नहीं टिकता है ! अच्छा समय शीघ्र ही कट जाता है लेकिन बुरे समय को काटना पड़ता है और यदि बुरे समय को काटने की शक्ति नहीं जुटा पाए तो वह मनुष्य को ही काट देता है अर्थात मनुष्य आत्महत्या भी कर बैठता है!

*न किंचित् शाश्वतम्*

यहां कुछ भी स्थाई नहीं है l चाहे वह कितना भी बड़ा या महान क्यूँ न हो एक न एक दिन वह नष्ट हो ही जाता है l

जब कुछ भी शाश्वत या निरंतर नहीं है तब भी परिवर्तन ही constant या continuum में है। यानी जो नहीं हैं वह भी मौजूद है।

अब हम आप पृथ्वी पर रहते हैं। क्या हमें या आपको यह भान होता है कि पृथ्वी ४६० मीटर प्रति सेकंड की रफ्तार से घूम रही है। वस्तुतः जब हम स्थिर हैं यानी सो रहे हैं या बैठे हुए हैं तब भी हम ४६० मीटर प्रति सेकंड की गति से घूम रहे होते हैं। अर्थात हमें लग रहा है कि हम स्थिर हैं पर हम हैं नहीं। इसी प्रकार जब कुछ भी शाश्वत नहीं है तब ही कुछ चीज जैसे समय शाश्वत रूप से विद्यमान है।

राजा हो या रंक सभी को समय के आगे नतमस्तक तो होना ही पड़ता है ! यह समय ही था जिसके कारण राजा राम को चौदह वर्षों का वनवास भोगना पड़ा ! समय यदि सही नहीं है तो हर सीधा दाव भी उल्टा पड़ता है और समय सही है तो व्यक्ति कुछ भी करे सही ही हो जाता है !

*अश्रद्दधानाः पुरुषा धर्मस्यास्य परन्तप।*

*अप्राप्य मां निवर्तन्ते मृत्युसंसारवर्त्मनि।।*

हे परंतप! इस धर्म की महिमा पर श्रद्धा न रखने वाले मनुष्य मेरे प्राप्त न होकर मृत्युरूप संसार के मार्गमें लौटते रहते हैं अर्थात् बार-बार जन्मते-मरते रहते हैं।

जन्म से पहले आपका कोई अस्तित्व नहीं था (यदि पूर्व जन्मों की अवधारणा को एक बार नजरअंदाज कर दें तो), आपका बचपन भी नहीं रुका उसी प्रकार आपकी यौवनावस्था तथा प्रौढ़ावस्था और अंत में वृद्धावस्था भी स्थायी नहीं है। आयु समाप्ति के पश्चात मृत्यु भी निश्चित है इनमें से किसी भी अवस्था को आप स्थायित्व में नहीं रख सकते तो बाकी किसी और चीज की बात हम क्यों ही करें।

समय की एक और खासियत है , कि समय के पंख भी होते हैं और तब यह उड़ भी सकता है और समय रेंग भी सकता है ! जब हम परीक्षा हाल में पेपर हल कर रहे होते हैं तो हमे समय का पता ही नहीं चलता ऐसे लगता है जैसे समय को पंख लग गए हों तीन घंटे कब बीत जाते हैं पता नहीं लगता , लेकिन जब हम स्टेशन पर या बस स्टाप पर ट्रेन या बस का इंतजार कर रहे होते हैं और तभी पता लगता है की ट्रेन या बस लेट है , तो लगता है जैसे समय रेंग रहा हो ! बहुत से कालेजों में तो "समय प्रबन्धन" एक विषय के रूप में भी पढ़ाया जाता है ! हमे जीवन में यह भी अच्छी तरह ज्ञात होना चाहिए के किस काम के लिए कितना समय दिया जाना चाहिए क्योंकि समय की भी अपनी सीमा होती है ! इसीलिए जीवन में समय का सदुपयोग करना आना चाहिए जिसने समय कि महत्ता समझ ली और समय का सदुपयोग किया वही जीवन के हर मोड़ पर सफल होगा और जिसने समय का दुरूपयोग किया वह हाथ मलते रह जायेगा !कुछ लोग समय को भाग्य से जोड़ लेते हैं लेकिन भाग्य
और समय दोनों अलग अलग हैं क्यों की कुछ लोग भाग्य में नही कर्म में विश्वास करते हैं !

*काल: सर्वं विरोपयति*

काल अर्थात समय सभी घावों को भर देता है

अत: समय बहुत कीमती है इसे व्यर्थ नहीं गवाना चाहिए ! समय की कीमत समझने में ही बुद्धिमानी है !
