Vast numbers of Lagosians leave home before 5am and get back after their children are asleep. They lose hours of work, money on fuel and fares, time, health and wellbeing they will never get back. That is a cost to every household and every business in this state.

Housing, public transportation and traffic are closely related problems. You cannot fix one without planning for the others. But the first step to fixing them is to acknowledge them.

This government has ignored the pains of Lagosians for years. This is just the latest example. Lagos needs a government that acknowledges problems and uses its resources to solve them, not one that celebrates them.

You’re Yoruba, but you genuinely believe things have been better for you under Tinubu’s government. You can now buy things cheaper than people from other tribes, apparently, and you can list five tangible benefits you’ve gotten from having someone from your tribe in power. So please, vote for Tinubu again in 2027.

We already know some of you children of corn are just like your parents. They’ll dance under the sun for an APC cap and polo shirt with ₦50k stuffed inside an envelope. Now we’re seeing the same mentality among some of the so called young people on Twitter.

You’ll see their profile pictures looking malnourished and hungry, yet instead of giving someone else from another tribe a chance after giving Tinubu four years, just to see whether things can improve, they’re all over the timeline screaming “4+4.” Lmaoooo, awon oniya!

At this point, some of them have signed a blood covenant with poverty. You can never convince them that they deserve a better life or change 😂
