I was the Sp Chief Inspector for Rotherham Special Constabulary South Yorkshire Police. I was a SC for over 16yrs and I loved every minute of it.

Well after nearly 16yrs being a SC I have now decided to retire. It has been the best thing I have done & I’m sure I’m going to miss it. I have made some good friends & I have watched them grow either within SC ranks or moving on to the regs. SCV1 Status 11 for the last time.

@SYP_DCO Craig from the first day I met you I knew that you would make something of your self. I was so proud to see you move up to the special sergeant and then special inspector then special chief inspector. You are now DCO and with any luck any time soon the Chief officer of SYP.

Well looks like I will be keeping these a lot longer. I had my Special Chief Inspector promotions board yesterday and Im glad to say I’ve passed😃. But no beer to celebrate because I’m the on-call SCI this weekend.
