The question was about recent issues within NDC, his response was "we will change that when we get into power"🤣🤣🤣
The guy asking the question almost slapped him.....
💔💔This is not just a lie; it is a malicious, disrespectful fabrication designed to farm engagements at the expense of our grief. As a serving soldier who has stood over the graves of brave comrades both those who made the ultimate sacrifice on the frontline and those we lost to illness in the barracks this hit piece is an insult to everything we stand for.
Let’s correct this misinformation directly with the rigid, institutional facts of how the Nigerian Army honors its d£@d:
♦️THE REGIMENTED REALITY: The Nigerian Army has a strict, uncompromising protocol for the burial of its personnel. When a soldier d!£s, whether in active combat or due to natural causes, the military handles the administrative and burial arrangements through established official channels.
♦️FULLY FUNDED BURIALS: The family is never billed, extorted, or asked to pay a single kobo, let alone ₦2 million, to move a body. The Army takes full responsibility for the transportation, standard military casket, and ceremonial honors.
♦️THE CHOICE OF RESTING PLACE: By standard military tradition, personnel are buried with full military honors in official military cemeteries (either at the frontline command or the designated brigade headquarters/barracks). If a family insists on taking the body back to their ancestral village against standard regimented practice, the evacuation follow-up is coordinated through official welfare officers, not via random cash demands as this lady alleged.
♦️IMMEDIATE WELFARE SUPPORT: The Army doesn't just abandon families; the institution provides immediate burial support allowances, coordinates the processing of insurance (Group Life Assurance), and ensures next-of-kin benefits are processed.
To the civilian clout-chasers amplifying this n0ns£ns£, we bleed for this country while you sit behind screens inventing horror stories. If you want to critique the system, do it with facts. But do not use the sacred memory of our fallen brothers to orchestrate a cheap, emotional scam.
If this truly happened, name the unit. Name the officer who made the demand. Report to the Military Police or the Defence Headquarters. The Army has zero tolerance for extortion, and any officer caught demanding money from a bereaved family will be court‑martialled.
But spreading a vague, unsubstantiated story on social media does not help your brother’s memory. It helps those who want to tear down the institution your brother served.
TO THE PUBLIC:
Do not let your emotions be weaponised. The Nigerian Army is not perfect. But demanding ₦2 million to release a fallen soldier’s body is not Army policy. It is not even plausible. It's a lie from the pit of hell which is unachievable. Instead, Ask for evidence. Ask for names. Ask for units.
WE HONOR OUR OWN.
WE BURY OUR OWN.
WE SUPPORT OUR OWN.

PRESS RELEASE
EDO POLICE ARREST OLUCHI AND SYNDICATE FOR STAGED KIDNAPPING, RECOVERS FIREARM USED IN RANSOM VIDEOS
The Edo State Police Command has uncovered a carefully orchestrated kidnapping scam and arrested four suspects who conspired to fraudulently obtain Fifty Million Naira (₦50,000,000) as ransom from unsuspecting family members through a fabricated abduction plot.
On 1st June, 2026, one Mr. Tony Ugbowan of Agbor Road, Benin City, reported at the Command that his wife, Mrs. Oluchi Ugbowan, aged 45 years, had been kidnapped on her way to her shop at Ramat Park along Agbor Road. He explained that on 28th May, 2026, he received a call from a concealed telephone number demanding a ransom of Fifty Million Naira (₦50,000,000) for her release.
Upon receipt of the report, operatives of the Anti-Kidnapping Unit immediately commenced a discreet investigation, deploying both intelligence and technical resources to unravel the circumstances surrounding the alleged kidnap. Thorough investigation led to the arrest of one Israel Ability, male, aged 28 years, at Ramat Park, Agbor Road, Benin City. During his arrest, the mobile phone belonging to the purported victim was recovered from him. Upon interrogation, the suspect confessed that he had been contracted by Mrs. Oluchi Ugbowan to negotiate ransom with her family while falsely presenting her as a kidnapped victim.
Further investigation subsequently led operatives on 5th June, 2026, to a hotel in Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State, where Mrs. Oluchi Ugbowan was arrested. During interrogation, she confessed to staging her own kidnapping and thereafter led investigators to the residence of an accomplice in Delta State, one Ochukwudem Uwadia, male, aged 38 years.
Investigation revealed that the residence was used as the location where videos depicting the victim with tied hands and feet were recorded and circulated to family members as proof of captivity. The suspect further disclosed that Uwadia's son, Chibuzor Ochukwudem, male, aged 18 years, was the individual seen in the videos pointing a firearm at her head in order to further lend credibility to the false kidnapping narrative.
All suspects connected to the criminal conspiracy have been arrested. A search conducted at the premises led to the recovery of an automatic pump-action gun used in the ransom videos.
The Commissioner of Police, Edo State Command, CP Monday Agbonika, fdc, commended the operatives for their painstaking investigation and professionalism in the timely unraveling of the elaborate deception. He warned that the Command treats every reported kidnapping incident with the utmost seriousness and deploys all available resources to ensure victims are rescued and perpetrators brought to justice. He further cautioned members of the public against engaging in false kidnapping schemes, stressing that such acts not only constitute serious criminal offences but also divert critical security resources from genuine victims of crime.
Members of the public are therefore advised to promptly report suspicious incidents to law enforcement authorities and refrain from taking actions capable of causing fear of crime.

This fight has not been easy. It has come with pain, pressure, and sacrifice. But your courage has remained firm. Your service is acknowledged. Your sacrifice is honoured. Your country does not take you for granted.
To every officer and soldier of our Armed Forces, to the Police, DSS, Civil Defence, intelligence services, local security formations, and all who work day and night to keep Nigeria safe, I say thank you.
Dear Nigerians,
1. Kindly note that the video of kidnapping that @ARISEtv used their YouTube page to broadcast on the 6th of June is a SKIT from a group of senseless Skitmakers, it's a propaganda, this particular incidence did not happen....
2. Also note that the Picture of the little girl they portrayed dead has been debunked since yesterday by @OyoPoliceNG but AriseTV is broadcasting it to the world as a form of propaganda to promote terrorism in Nigeria..
@ARISEtv crews are obviously running PR for kidnappers and are creating panic by pushing falsehood and fake videos through their platform DELIBERATELY....

It's been over 2 weeks since the oyo kidnapping incident. The Govt and terrorists are yet to agree on the negotiated terms. Nevertheless we have special operations units ready at any given time, all they need is a "go ahead". For the sake of the kids time is running out!
