Excellent little review of our new re-issue of early Jimmy Crouse recordings: "Universally unexplored testimonies to introspection that play like cherished classics, as the melodies fill your awareness with an accumulation of staggering grace."

The elusive and sublime Jimmy Crouse has gifted us with 5 new songs. Fans of Richard Youngs or Daniel Higgs acoustic work take note. And heads: A significant release of early Jimmy Crouse studio recordings going back to 1991 is forthcoming. https://t.co/DRaTFbYEI8

New five song EP from the elusive Jimmy Crouse. Glacially performed in single breathless takes for voice and guitar. Fans of Songs Ohia, Alastair Galbraith, Karen Dalton, take note. https://t.co/fOul4ncETW

I unfortunately live in the universe where this was not a hit single, but given the multiverse, I'd like to hear from some of you who do. @jasonwolfman @wowcool

The elusive Jimmy Crouse has graced us with 4 new songs. In many ways they are a piece with 2017's "Not Take Upon Oneself To Say". Glacially slow hymns. Sparse and intimate. Raw and alone. There are unfiltered truths here if you listen closely. @iannagoski https://t.co/q932DG0h2W

A new EP of precious hymns from our man, Jimmy Crouse. The lead track revisits a personal favorite, Druthers. @iannagoski https://t.co/oUsGd4oPJf

On this rainy day in Pittsburgh, I feel I need to remind the world of the existence of Jimmy Crouse's Not Take Upon Oneself To Say. It is a miracle. https://t.co/f7HUTioejP

OUT NOW: Jimmy Crouse - One Another / Anybody Know
"Without a doubt, these are the most challenging recordings from Jimmy Crouse to date. Recorded at home, alone, they are raw, unapologetic, unsettling, and sublime."

[Specific Recordings @specificrecords]

"The likeminded camaraderie of a coterie of friends and strangers lending their voices to these original hymns, combining to form a liturgical Voltron heaven-bent on piercing the veil between the inner and outer."

Played this for a friend last night. As startling and true as any 10 minutes of music I've ever heard.
