The dramatic conclusion to our series on the Battle of Endor was just released!
In our parody of @HardcoreHistory, Dan Carlin describes how the rebels are saved by the #Ewoks in one of the great battles of all time. #StarWars

Man, every tweet we get telling us how much people love the show both inspires us to get back to it...And pressues us to get back to work, LOL.
We promise, we're working on season two!!!!
Speaking as someone who's written/performed a Dan Carlin spoof, I want to say:
This is utterly insane.
I mean, we're trying to do jokes as well, but the knowledge, time and skill this must take is nuts.
For those who don't know, we improvise our shows. Which means we leave a lot of very different versions (from the one that were actually used in the release) on the cutting room floor. Seems a shame. Gotta figure out a way to use more of it to our benefit somehow...
That museum at the end. Does it exist? In real life? (Is it the Smithsonian?)
More importantly, if Marvel opened a fake museum set in the MCU and celebrating MCU heroes, as if it were a real museum, would I go to that museum?
@SpecMediaPod@TitanBooks Advice to new authors. A contract may promise royalties, but scrutinise everything, especially the receipt for the advance cheque, to remove any sly wording that signs over your work in its entirety to the publisher. Or get an agent to do that for you. Tricky chaps, publishers.
@LeeBWood@TitanBooks That sucks.
Regardless, you did amazing work and it's one of my fav pieces of nerd pop culture. I can't tell you how many times me and my brother read that book.
In honor of #aliensday
We’re total junkies of technical guides to sci-fi film franchises. We bought almost every Star Wars guide to vehicles and planets and characters and weapons. Just love em.
And we rebought a bunch more recently when they were updated.
@Russo_Brothers Sad to say, Arclight theaters in Sherman Oaks, which just announced that they're shutting down after a tough year.
A terrific theater and one of my favorite movie-going experiences ever. My wife was about to give birth and every scene with Iron Man at the end had me tearing up.
It’s loaded with crazy details, often criticizing the weaponry or the design of things. Like the power loader's tiny feet. Or the planes’ insane design. So much thought and research went into this. It’s just wonderful.
@TitanBooks issued a release in 2012.
@IwriteOK@shoe0nhead Have you listened to @SpecMediaPod hardcore history spoof called “behold a forest moon”. It is HH style deep dive into the battle of Endor. Truly phenomenal!
