@KevEdwardsRetro As a practical computer...utterly crap, as an educational powerhouse, utterly brilliant. My first BASIC, my first machine code and my first understanding of the basics of computing. My career started right there
@0xC0DE6502 Exactly the same as Asteroids in the arcades. Whilst the % chance may be different, you can just randomly die as well as appearing on an asteroid
@thetdepodcast I've followed every interview from the start and this is the most insightful & informative one I have ever listened to. Thanks so much to Jeff & all you guys for creating something that records this incredible history for us and future generations. Jeff, you're a feckin hero!

@0xC0DE6502 Can't imagine how stressful it must be to know someone is unpicking your 35-40 year old code ๐๐คฃ.... balanced of course by the fact that someone is interested in unpicking your 35-40 year old code!
@t2_steve Excellent, didn't realise Shaun had his own channel and some of those interviews are definitely worth catching up on. Worked with him in the past and definitely a really nice guy.
@BreakIntoProg@HumansNoContext And took me so long to work why my scrolling asteroids avoiding BASIC program occasionally ran out of memory...using just enough memory to cover the spaces to the left would do it when those asteroids were randomly spaced...thats proper coding education right there....
