@marcie_hatter Thank you so much for this thread. I’m a single parent, and I have NO idea what would happen to my kids if I were hospitalised. This is not about me!!
If anything does for Cummings, it will be the stories of other people's endurance. The unattended funerals. The unvisited parents. The struggles to look after our kids while we were sick. Every family in the land has paid a price. And he sees it all as being somehow beneath him.
I have an idea. Why doesn't he sell his island, and bail out his own fucking airline? "Branson offers Caribbean island to secure Virgin bailout" https://t.co/BOKvj83GNE
Trump just cut all funding to the World Health Organisation -- in the middle of the #Covid19 pandemic! Now this massive public call to condemn this idiocy and save the WHO is going viral! Sign and RT: https://t.co/PbYFfv6tM5
It would be great if someone with the profile of @matthaig1 could highlight my tweet. It really is irresponsible for @BBCRadio4 to be reporting autism in this way.
After tonight, it’s very clear. If you’re a Tory MP and you don’t cross the floor, if you’re still happy to vote Tory, if you’re a journalist and you don’t hold the government to account, you are complicit.
I took this photo as we were leaving #NotreDame about an hour before it caught on fire. I almost went up to the dad and asked if he wanted it. Now I wish I had. Twitter if you have any magic, help him find this 🙏🏼

@BullshireSB@PaulaMc007@Peter_Kirkham@SueJone91569065 I assume the police are trained to deal with neurotypical people experiencing traumatic events – burglaries, assaults, RTAs? This is about understanding the differing needs of the neurodiverse community experiencing these *same traumas*. It has nothing to do with other services.
This family are having to fund treatment for their 3yo son who has brain cancer. Just imagine having to pay for that yourself. To save your child's life. Please help if you can.
"It's much more useful to stick with uncomfortable feelings," says @DrHelenKara, "like admitting you're a racist. We've invented the humble-brag to help deal with it. But shame doesn't have to be hidden from." #methodsem
