I make it easy to get shit done...
for highly-skilled generalist entrepreneurs...
who just tripped and fell off their mountain,
and are now stumbling towards the pit of despair.
Look. I've hit rock bottom 3 times.
But the 4th time I fell I had built the strength and wherewithal to catch myself on the side of the cliff.
So I climbed back up fast.
It wasn't easy. It wasn't fun. But it helped me understand what is needed to keep shit going.
Now... What's better than the cure is prevention.
So if you're caught in the fog of uncertainty, and you're worried the insane future we'll see in the next few years is gonna make you trip and fall..
I suggest you clear up your path asap.
I've put together a short guide on finding clarity and staying true to your purpose.
You can access it here:

And if you find yourself in the pit of despair already...
Clarity alone won't get you out.
There are solutions, though.
Tell me your story and I'll make it easier for you.
So that, one day, action will be effortless.
I did a deep dive on branding agencies and wtf actually holds them back from attracting and closing leads.
If you're a service agency founder or operator, fix all of these asap or you'll never make it past 1M AAR.
It's on LI though because of reasons:

@thedankoe To reference Kahneman a bit... gotta be mindful of the two thinking types: fast and slow. Even the most intelligent people get caught in fast thinking based on heuristics, and it's important to slow down and deliberate intentionally. Thanks for the reminder, Dan.
@INFLUENCESUBCON Identity-change is the best way to fix whatever it is you think is wrong about you, your behavior, and your life. You can think of pretty much everything of downstream from that... And you can notice that identity is downstream from action :)
Yeah, that tracks.
Once “owned by everyone” stops meaning you can actually say no, it’s basically a fiction. At that point it’s not ownership, it’s access... and even that’s conditional.
The real control sits with whoever gets to define "needy" and decide when the rules change. Everyone else just borrows it temporarily, as long as they stay in line.
Curious how you see the alternative though. Is this a case for more explicit ownership, or just a warning about how easily "shared" turns into centralized power?
Yeah, totally get that feeling. Naval's got tons of cool insights.
Haven't gotten to his books/more curated stuff yet. Curious, how much of the book is signal vs stuff you already kinda know if you’ve been around the internet/business space for a bit. Backlog is already stupid long 😅 so not sure where it'd fit on my priority list.
What actually stuck with you the most from it? Like, was there a specific idea that changed how you think or act, or is it more that it keeps snapping you back into the right mindset when you reread it?
@ddeutsch Copy is 80% research 20% writing... because research forces you to slow down, think, process, and clarify everything. Use AI to speed up the research so you have more time to think, not so you think less. That is the way. Slow is fast.
@thedankoe That's true, as long as you focus on integration. Breadth for its own case, binging knowledge to infinity and beyond, without actually putting what you learn into action, is a great way of not getting anywhere.
One of the better posts recently. Slowing down and cultivating taste instead of trying to compete with the slopmachines you can't keep up with is the only way of doing it. That's my strategy atm. Slow and steady wins the race. Ironic, given people call me Speed :D, but slow (and smart) is a speed too.
