@dimitrisega @EP_Biedermann@bishonen_ I know this isn't leading anywhere, but as a matter of fact, I likely do have superior knowledge about the incident compared to you. You haven't been in the arena yesterday, have you? That said you are trying to make a point without having witnessed the whole ordeal...
@dimitrisega @EP_Biedermann@bishonen_ So you're implying that racial slurs and gestures like that are fine because there is a point system in place? Your argument doesn't make sense and shows that the only thing you are doing is defending behavior like that which is as acceptable as the behavior itself - not at all.
@MartinThuer "Name?"
"Peijnik-Steinwender - ich buchstabiere: Paula Emil Ida Jakob Nordpol Ida Konrad - Minus - Steinwender"
"Also Herr Steinwender..."
"OK"
Irgendwann resigniert man und reserviert im Restaurant Tische gleich auf Steinwender.
I really struggled with the #OpenAPI generator and generating an #asyncio#Python client recently. Dear lazyweb: what’s the recommended tooling for generating async Python clients from OpenAPI specs nowadays? Are you using something entirely different than OpenAPI specs?
@Depechie @bogdanm78 @BTicino@home_assistant@HACSIntegration Exactly. That integration is also a lot more mature than my proof of concept. The approach is different though and it may even make sense to combine both approaches in the future. I haven’t gotten in touch with the author yet though.
@bogdanm78 @BTicino@home_assistant@HACSIntegration I am not sure to be honest. I only have access to a MyHomeSERVER1. It should work with every device that can be controlled using the MyHome_UP mobile app though… The API used by that app is the requirement. If it works, please let me know
This took a little longer than expected and I spent most of the time getting the #OpenAPI generator to produce modern asyncio code. I finally gave up on this tonight and hand-patched the generated code to get the proof-of-concept out the door. Not clean, but got the job done. 2/2
@Depechie@BTicino@home_assistant I saw that integration already, but it takes a different approach from what I am working on. My approach uses the undocumented HTTP API that is used by the MyHome_UP mobile app and is more like the Hue integration. Some info can be found at https://t.co/oHOo6SEoh9
The great thing about recreational programming and taking your time to explore technology are ripple effects: working on integrating my @BTicino home with @home_assistant I learned about @esphome_ and bought myself an @M5Stack M5StickC-Plus for some tinkering. This led to ... 1/4
information and code is a ground pillar for being able to do recreational programming that benefits others as well and enables us all to learn something from each other. #FreeSoftware 5/5
a great project, even if my contribution is rather small.
Long story short: HomeAssistant and ESPHome are awesome and it is fun playing with these. Learning about HomeAssistant development right now, hoping to contribute at some point. This shows how open access to ... 4/5
