@dfwticket you’re really reaching US lost
1) They don’t play basketball type defense on the pitch. They continue to guard space and not a man. In the history of soccer space has NEVER scored.
2) No one wanted to open passing lanes on the left side LAZY play
3) No creativity
@USMNT STOP guarding space and start guarding a man. Space has never scored a single goal in the history of soccer. Call me when you’re ready to change
@texasrunnerDFW It’s part scheme the men’s team needs to integrate basketball defense onto the soccer pitch. Never in the history of soccer has space scored a goal
@USMNT Like I’ve said for 20+ years… you won’t be a big dog till you learn how to integrate basketball defense on to the soccer pitch. Call me when you’re ready to advance
@texasrunnerDFW Basically you need 2 defenders between you (offensive player) and the goal, WHEN the ball is played to you. Most of the time 1 of the 2 players is the goalkeeper. The essence of the rule is to prevent “cherrie picking” and to make the offense bring the ball in an orderly fashion
@USMNT hey trainers for the men’s team don’t raise a players leg to stretch out a cramp. You’re draining the leg of blood which is carrying the potassium you’re trying to restore….. it’s not physiology it’s gravity
