A lot of what is happening now is Kristi Noem marginalized Tom Homan and the head of Border Patrol because those two prioritized deportations of criminals and gang members. Noem and Corey Lewandowski wanted broad, public round-ups without prioritizing the illegal aliens. They have bypassed Homan and the head of Border Patrol and elevated Greg Bovino because they want the public confrontations and displays. And that's not the progressive press reporting this. Everyone take a deep breath.

@KamalaHarris prospects in PA, GA, and NC rely on

a. big urban turnout
b. big suburban turnout and vote share
c. not being completely wiped out in rural

Right now, even the campaigns can't say conclusively that Team Harris is failing on these essentials.

However, Republicans claim between early vote and what they are seeing so far on same-day voting, they will win all three states, maybe somewhat comfortably.

There are no "exit polls" coming anytime soon that will settle this debate.

Please just be patient and wait for actual vote and more robust boiler room reports.

IF Republicans are right about where those three states are headed, this election could be over by midnight.

BUT it is not fair to tilt "reporting" or vibes in that direction.

Let the voters decide.

There's no rush.

We know from Florida 2000 that there is a lot of value to one side to be seen as the "winner' without actually being clearly the winner.

The media should NOT play that role or make that mistake with ANY state.

I think incompetence, not conspiracy, explains the Secret Service debacle. But one of the reasons the director should resign is that in this climate, such stunning failure breeds conspiracy theorizing. When you say you can't have a Secret Service sniper on a sloped roof, rational people are like "Are you f**king kidding me? That can't be it."

When leaders of the institutions appear to be gaslighting to stay in power, you should expect people to think they must be covering up something.

Faith and trust in institutions erodes when leaders of those institutions refuse to honor that trust and take responsibility.
