@David_Moscrop To the extent I disagree it is the specific word class but I think you would be hard pressed to find a more class conscious president than Biden over the last forty years. He spoke in explicit class terms and drove up median wage growth in real terms.
Latest numbers: across the seven battleground states, the '20-'24 swing towards Trump was ~3.1 pts. Across the other 43 states (+DC), it was ~6.7 pts.
Bottom line: the Harris campaign swam impressively against some very strong underlying currents.
It is incredibly gutsy to release this poll. It won't put Harris ahead in our forecast because there was also another Iowa poll out today that was good for Trump. But wouldn't want to play poker against Ann Selzer.

I don't think it's necessarily unprincipled to strategically swap parties, even if Falcon said it is.
It IS unprincipled to declare something unprincipled, brag that you have too many principles to doo such a thing, and then do the thing two weeks later.
Hearing there is a group of B.C United and B.C. Conservative candidates in the Okanagan who might form their own party if not selected to run for Conservatives or are booted from campaign. Name being floated is Okanagan Alliance Party. #bcpoli
just pointing out that it's more than a little weird for a political party's core "founding principle" to be simply to keep another political party out of government. Usually it's something that occurs in tandem w/ some positive desire for a certain goal, not the essential thing.
NEW - Deal has been reached for BC United to suspend provincial election campaign and some of its candidates will run for B.C. Conservatives. Kevin Falcon will not be running in the election. The list is still being worked on for others running for Conservatives. #bcpoli
