@Calderdale I love recycling collection day in Northowram as it’s the day I have to collect all the plastic bottles/cartons at the top of my drive and on the road that haven’t made it onto the wagon!!!! 😡 #everytime
@JonjayNeedham1 Wow, absolutely amazing that you’re using your horrendous experiences in a positive manner to help others.
People like you are true heroes!!!
Hip great, neck all way across to right shoulder been giving me grief for 6 weeks now!!! Started when all hip restrictions were lifted and I could sleep on unoperated side!!!
Day 82 post op right #totalhipreplacement and hip is brilliant now allowing me to go on decent walks and cycle. However, neck and right collarbone area are still causing me grief, worse first thing in a morning. 6 weeks now and not improving!!! Started when sleeping on side again
Day 50 post op right #totalhipreplacement and now walking without aids, but still with a slight hobble. It lessens if I stand on operated leg for 10 secs!!
Also couldn’t face indoor bike so I went out on road bike today and did a steady 10 miler 🚴🏼 💨
37 days post of right #totalhipreplacement and it’s been a good day. Brilliant physio session with Nikki at @Physiocure1 getting the joint moving through the stiffness. Good walk with one stick and @Concept2UK bikeErg session. Another walk shortly and scar healing well!!
Day 22 post op right #totalhipreplacement and completed a few walks. I’m now combining the post op exercises with exercises from @Physiocure1 and Leeds Nuffield. Now using sticks instead of crutches and finding it much harder. Using @sarahlpriestley oil blend on scar
@lufcdexter@wearejames@O2ApolloManc We are off to @ThePieceHall Friday night gig. I should be able to move about a bit more freely by then and maybe able to shake my hips!! My all time favourite band
Off to see @wearejames at @O2ApolloManc tomorrow night, 2 weeks on from right total hip replacement. Just hoping I can use cushions to boost my seat as not allowed to sit in low seats where angle between hip and legs is 90 degrees or less!!!
Day 9 post op Right THR : couple of short walks completed in sticks and 3 circuits of exercises done. Still sore and uncomfortable and swelling still obvious. Compression socks ordered!!!
Day 5 post op Right THR : Had a 1 mile walk whilst taking in The Northowram Scarecrow Festival. 1 circuit of exercises to go. Swelling on right leg coming out now.
Day 2 post op Right THR: Bed exercises and standing exercises done. Another walk down the corridor and up the stairs on crutches. A bag of meds given to take with me and I’m ready to go home after lunch!!!
