🚨 This is our last meal; we are absolutely terrified. 💔🐾

Now I’m speaking to you as I put down the last food we have for our rescued cats. My hands are filling their bowls, but my heart is breaking. I look at them eating, knowing that this food all we have. I cannot stop wondering how I will face them when they come looking for their next meal and I have nothing left to give.

Dozens of cats still gather around us, trusting that we will take care of them. They eat without knowing that the shelves are nearly empty, that prices keep rising, and that the families caring for them are struggling to find food for themselves, too. They have no way to understand why the food might stop coming. All they know is that they are hungry, and they trust us not to leave them that way.

Please, hear this as our final call before the food runs out. We cannot keep filling their bowls with promises. We need help to buy the next meal. If you can donate, please do. If you cannot, share this appeal so it can reach someone who can. Your support could be the difference between finding food for them and watching them wait with empty bowls.

Among broken stones and the ruins of their destroyed world, these little cats bend their heads over a bowl of food. They eat without knowing how close we are to running out. They don’t know that the hands feeding them are desperate, that our supplies are disappearing, or that tomorrow’s meal is no longer guaranteed. They simply trust us to come back. 😿💔

War took our home, destroyed AFS Shelter, and shattered the life we built to protect abandoned animals. Today, our own families are struggling for food and basic necessities, while our rescued cats depend on us for every bite. We have kept going for as long as we could, but we are reaching a point where love alone cannot fill an empty bowl.

🚨 PLEASE, LET THIS BE THE MOMENT SOMEONE HELPS US BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE.
