Closing out the week as a founder is such a weird feeling. There's no manager to tell you good job, you just stare at your git history and try to convince yourself you actually moved the needle. It's a mental battle, but I wouldn't trade the freedom.

We spend so much time stressing over perfect architecture before a launch, but honestly? A messy backend that actually solves a real problem is infinitely better than a flawless, perfectly scaled ghost town. Just get the thing out there.

One of the hardest lessons to learn as a solo developer is that nobody cares how elegant your backend architecture is if the core product doesn't actually solve their problem. I spent days perfectly refactoring a database structure recently for a feature that barely anyone even uses. Simple, ugly, and functional almost always beats complex and "perfect."
