@fuwap15@auspost@AnikaWells Remember when street boxes were cleared at 6pm and that this was changed to 4pm as a Pandemic measure? Well that was over 6 years ago, and we're still waiting for the normal pickup times to be restored. The early cutoff makes it harder for local businesses to get the mail out.
The FY 24/25 Annual Report @auspost revealed the Top 8 Executives had pocketed over $18 MILLION.
To meet bonus KPIs, they have closed Post Offices en masse, stripped the Corporation of assets & are financially suffocating Postal Licensees, who have their life savings invested.
I couldn't care less about Claude Code's source being leaked on npm.
What terrifies me is that it's 512,000 lines of TypeScript code.
HALF A MILLION lines of code for what's essentially a glorified API wrapper.
I think the crucial point in our reality when we took the wrong turn was the invention of JavaScript.
And we cemented our path to doom with the invention of TypeScript.
Half a million lines of code. Dear Lord, have mercy on us.
@toddsaunders No such thing as Trade Secret law. Things can be protected by Copyright or Patent law. A thing can be a trade secret, but it's on you to keep it secret.
@AlboMP Yes. But when will we have #NovavaxForAustralia ? Like Americans, accessing it at a chemist, or Costco? They have had XBB version, JN1 under Emergency Authorisation, and again under Full FDA Approval. Israel has it. Germany is going to deploy. Japan is manufacturing..
@PeterCronau As a kid who was into short wave radio, I stumbled across one of the transmission feeds that used to be used for international phone calls at the time. I only got one side of the call, but it turned out to be Roger East, the journalist who was killed in the invasion...
𧡠Thread: Why donβt people take COVID seriously in Year 6 of the pandemic?
A virus that disables the immune system, damages the brain, heart, and vasculature.
And spreads like smoke.
Yet the world shrugs.
Why?
Because mass denial is doing what it always does.

I'm presuming that with the USA intent on trashing International agreements like the Australian/US free trade agreement, and withdrawing from international bodies such as WHO, that they will no longer be relying on such agreements to protect their Intellectual Property rights.
Think the media isnβt working to undermine the government? Just Google βAustralian election pollβ.
Yesterday, the Dutton favoured Resolve poll made headlines everywhere.
Today, the Labor leading Roy Morgan poll is nowhere to be seen. #qanda
Is there a single solitary person in Australia who believes that Dutton will match Labor's Bulk billing spend, after the Coalition spent 9 years trying to destroy bulk billing?
Anyone? This may be Dutton's greatest lie of them all!
https://t.co/8WGBLgbyJe
Jim Chalmers not convinced of Angusβ claim they wonβt cut bulk billing, reminds when Dutton came after Medicare as Health Min. & slams the βshamefulβ veterans backlog left behind
βU canβt pay $600bill in nuclear reactors w/out coming after Medicare again like he did last timeβπ₯
Iβm old enough to remember when the LNP told us thereβd be no cuts to health, education, or SBS, then they slashed all three.
Now Dutton is matching Laborβs $8.5B Medicare pledge, but weβve seen this trick before. He canβt be trusted with Medicare.
Promise big, cut later.
To all the people who do not want a Labor Govt. The ONLY other Govt will be led by Dutton. If you want what's happening in USA right now with Dutton as a Trump Lapdog, cutting veterans payments & obliterating health care, then you're going to hurt a lot of people. Think on that.
Dutton "interest rates should have already come down"
Pretending that interest rates didn't get cut? Dutton is going full Morrison with his lying.
