Currently the cost of damages falls to health & life insurance companies, as well as government and all society.

Why don't health insurance companies apply legal pressure to makers & sellers of guns & ammo, to require that buyers be insured for liability just like for cars & trucks?

Ultimately, the best way to stop the guns is to put their makers out of business. Lift the federal liability immunity for gun manufacturers and let them be sued by the families who have lost loved ones from deadly products knowingly marketed by these merchants of death.
