Dolly was openly pro-LGBTQ+, pro-Black Lives Matter, pro-women’s rights, pro-literacy, pro-science and proudly Christian while remaining firmly rooted in country music and although several tried, no one could ever intimidate her into backing down or being silent. 1 of 1.
i remember we were doing the sexual harassment training at work at this nigga beside me failed it 3 times talkin bout “DAMN THATS SEXUAL HARASSMENT TOO WE CANT DO SHIT IN THIS BITCH” after every scenario like hello??? i moved seats immediately 😭😭😭😭
The "(character) is homophobic?" trend cracks me up because when I was 15 I tried to tell my mom I was lesbian by saying "mom... i don't like guys..." and she said "AMEN!" assuming I was just being misandrist and did an illegal u-turn to get to a tamale shop before I could reply
Toph has internalised misogyny. She's literally the girl who's not like other girls. She degrades anything feminine why secretly liking it. She also insults Aang for showing vulnerability by calling him a girl. That's her character flaw. But obviously men will ignore her growth.
things i refuse to accept from legend of korra:
-toph being a cop
-toph being a heterosexual
-aang neglecting two of his kids
-sokka not outliving everyone
