@CMHaughey@caulmick@irishdailymail Brenda Power probably doesn’t even believe what she writes. Such utter nonsense. She, like the rest of us need to work to earn a living. But shame on her to ‘abuse’ the left in doing so
@HelenORahilly Yes and it produces amazing results for people who need it for medical reasons. It should also be available free for people with PCOS too. Even getting an appointment to see an Endocrinologist can take years here.
@HelenORahilly Please report your experience. This a serious drug taken by many without prescription. The side effects can be challenging as you increase your dose and people need to hear that. I wish you all the best with it
Our Global Citizenship Education (GCE) team headed to Balbriggan to join @DevPerspectives for an amazing first session of the SDG Advocate Training. Alongside discussions about the #SDGs and #GCE, the team were able to enjoy some classic bodhrán playing! @Irish_Aid#LYCS
@HelenORahilly Having said that, it does mean there is a sharing of expertise between both private & public which should serve the patient better in both sites
@HelenORahilly It’s DESPERATE. This two tier system is awful. But whilst most of our (potential) Consultants bask in the sunny Australian medical system, we won’t have enough for a split between private and public here. That’s why those who are here split their time between both
@HelenORahilly Btw I learnt yrs ago that the reason a Consultant (or their reps) visit you each day is so they can can charge you for the visit (as if you met them in their rooms/offices)
@HelenORahilly Having the same name - ‘Mater’ is confusing. But, it’s like going from a private business to a Gov funded organisation. No relation between the two.
The fact that a medical consultant works in both (and that they are just next door to each other) compounds the confusion.
Jez Butterworth's #TheFerryman@gaiety_theatre is epic! A stellar irish cast of much loved actors. Its a story of a former IRA member who disappeared during the troubles. It's superbly written & portrayed by the characters brilliantlly A must see @carolinedowney_@hellomissionpr
'The Ferryman' runs until 15 March at @gaiety_theatre, Dublin. Keep an eye out for some familiar faces at the Irish premiere.
