@simplem_ths@drdavidajames We will probably have to agree to disagree. If there is ever any evidence of benefit that out ways the carnage that is has caused in the system then let me know. Everyone sees private schools as Eaton and Harrow, not small prep schools offering great education and lives for kids
@simplem_ths@drdavidajames Well I agree with raising standards across the board. The VAT policy will not do this! That requires a far more disciplined approach to state school education.
@simplem_ths@drdavidajames Are you suggesting the policy has been a success!! What is proven over years is that, in the main, private education is a benefit to those who have it, so why not try and open it up to more people not less!! Finally if you have seen any benefit to the state sector let us know!!
@MartinSLewis Very indifferent to it, if you can be very indifferent! Once they are in power their brains cease to work properly and any uncommon sense goes!!
@matthewsyed Yes it is becoming ungovernable! Labour canโt lead this country because they have to appease those too far left whose policies donโt work. Whatever you think of Tony Blair he knew that.
@joerichlaw@bbcquestiontime@BBCNews Those people who thought that taxing private schools would provide a net gain were probably the same people who thought the public finances would be better after Brexit!! There is no Utopia!! But those trying to find it mean we have the worst worst option!!!
@GMB I think itโs best if she just sticks to her day job of completely ruining our private and state school sectors, where she has done a magnificent job!!
