What the hell must I do?
Artists just want a place online where platforms don't feed their work to AI. So I built Cara. But people just won't leave us alone.
The laws don't help us, the governments don't help us. What are artists supposed to do exactly? 1/
@inter_rusticos@JeanDedecker Bij voorkeur voorkom je van dat soort makkelijk te voorkomen dingen. We hebben ook veiligheidsnormen voor treinen en vliegtuigen
@N104AP@miaaowing That's not universally the case... What is true is that due to some weirdness, if you are travelling your home number will always work on your own phone
Je ziet veel mensen skeptisch over migratie *zowel* de culturele *als* de fiscale en economische uitdagingen van migratie bespreken. De culturele uitdagingen zijn ook schromelijk overroepen, maar laten we het hebben over de fiscale (economische).

There is so much misinformation being spread about what’s actually happening in Spain:
1) Migrants are not swimming or taking boats to Spain’s mainland. Ceuta is a Spanish enclave on Morocco’s northern coast.
2) This is a coordinated effort by Morocco’s government, seen in the video below transporting migrants in trucks to Ceuta.
Morocco’s government aligns with Israel and the US, so these efforts most likely aim to punish Spain for supporting Palestine and opposing the US and Israel’s war against Iran.
This is exactly, **precisely** what I mean every time I say 'they just don't get it'. If I didn't know any better, I'd swear everything (good and bad) about this game is a psyop to turn me specifically into a video essay YouTuber.
> UNSC is fighting a war for survival, one that they're losing horrifically
> Somehow decide to spend resources and RnD to switch from ammo pouches with mags in them, a solution that has worked perfectly fine for literal centuries in game (and is a real method to cheaply store ammo IRL but that's less relevant)
> The problem is the solution they came up with is worse in EVERY conceiveable way.
> Obviously more expensive since they're using a milled and assembled block of steel instead of a simple bag. Even cheap steel would be a premium resouce in the war at this point.
> Weighs more and takes up more space, both of which are premium resources on a starship.
> The ammo isn't even IN a mag, just nonsensically wedged in some foam? fitted inserts and presumably layered, meaning for the same volume you get less actual bullets and seemingly no actual extra mags???
Casuals and/or dullards will say it doesn't matter or isn't a big deal but if that's the case why not just keep the bags lol?
A pointless asset change done to 'modernize' the game or make the setting more 'sci-fi' without actually thinking it through. Something that casuals won't even notice, but that erodes the veracity of the worldbuilding for anyone who spends even a minute actually looking at the asset and trying to appreciate it! Truly emblematic of the main problem at hand: they still don't get it!
@jured100@romlib_@TrickedDev I agree with you on Switzerland, but we're talking about a union of nations here, that complicated things
Do you vote for parties instead of people? Because I don't here...
@jured100@romlib_@TrickedDev Half is directly elected, the other half by the governments that were directly elected. You could argue that this two chamber-like system should not exist, but saying it's "layers upon layers of removal" is just insanity
@ellencarmichael Incredible take to have trains as an example specifically, with yours having a punctuality of between 30 and 70% (source, Amtrak themselves)
@BReal_01@Sanderucci Vote for less insane or corrupt people when it's time
I know in my circles nobody bothers to vote for Europe, but everyone loves to comolain
