The Instagram crackdown is not going to work!

The government is taking down thousands of posts and accounts every day, but it seems to be missing a fundamental point.

Instagram is just a platform where people are raising their questions. The reasons behind those questions exist far beyond social media, and taking down accounts won't make them disappear.

If anything, this censorship risks creating even more distrust among the very people the government is supposed to answer to.

Bengaluru has lost more than 43 lakh names from its electoral roll in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), with its electorate shrinking from 1.03 crore to just 59.08 lakh. चुनाव नियम 40 के तहत 'फॉर्म 16' से पोस्टल वोटों (वैध और अमान्य) का हिसाब तय होता है। अंदर सिर्फ वही कागज जा सकता है जिस पर चुनाव अधिकारी (RO) की पक्की मुहर हो।

बिना मुहर के सादे 'फॉर्म 16' और फाइलों के बंडल चुपके से अंदर ले जाने का मतलब साफ है— वोटों के आंकड़ों में बड़ा हेरफेर (Rigging) करने की खुली साजिश!
