I had dropped Bolt coz of safety concerns. Also now dropped Uber coz in as much as I support the drivers in their push for better pay, it's a safety concern to be negotiating for price while already on the ride, especially at night. Absolutely no thanks. So using Little Cab now.

Uber simply makes money from an app. Drivers do all the work and even provide the working tools. They've taken the company to court. They've protested before. But there was little solidarity from the Kenyan public.

Uber driving was never intended to be a full-time job. It was conceived as a side-hustle for people who have an idle car at during their free time.

Then people started buying cars to put on Uber and operating them on full-time basis and hoping to become millionaires!

First time I got in an Uber whose driver was on Zello in May, he explained what was up. He explained how Uber tells GoK it pays them a certain %, but the 💰 they actually get is less. He asked if I would pay double. I agreed. I always pay double since then. They deserve better.
