Flock takes their privacy very seriously.
But the ethical gray area in surveillance technology works both ways.
Under no circumstances should elected officials or public servants enjoy an expectation of privacy when spending tax dollars to attend a surveillance lobbying event.
Yale researchers found we could expand Medicare to 50 for $180 billion a year.
$180 billion is less than the $250 billion increase the House just passed for the Department of War.
We literally could have healthcare over warfare.
In Virginia, data centers are destroying the countryside — even in counties that have no data centers. It’s time for a moratorium. My latest column: https://t.co/ocTtxuVxcW
“I got no response from Chuck Schumer’s office. I got no response from the American embassy.”
Dr. Mark Perlmutter told @amanpour that after Israel killed World Central Kitchen workers in March 2024, he repeatedly contacted New York Senator Schumer’s office and U.S. embassies seeking protection for himself and other American doctors volunteering in Gaza, as they were set to travel the same roads.
Leaving Gaza, he said he saw a line of aid trucks stretching roughly 31 miles, eight abreast, with food rotting inside as Israel blocked them from entering.
“That is enough to surround Gaza three to five times with trucks of supplies that Israel was not letting in.” Famine was declared in Gaza in July 2025.
🔴 1,000 Days of Torture in Isolation for Palestinian Prisoners
Palestinian prisoners have now endured 1,000 days of isolation in Israeli prisons, deprived of their rights and prevented from communicating with the outside world, the Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs said Sunday.
The commission said Israel continues to prevent the International Committee of the Red Cross from visiting Palestinian detainees or examining the conditions in which they are being held.
Rights groups and the U.N. has documented Israel’s systematic use of torture, including rape and sexual violence, in its network of torture prisons.
“I did a leg amputation on a 5-year-old girl, and the only anesthesia that we had was the anesthesia doctor singing to her… We were praying for her to faint. She stayed awake the whole amputation.”
Absolutely devastating testimony from doctors in Gaza.
This is part of the problem with people assuming that lobbying means paying off members. 90% of the job of a lobbyist is being the subject matter expert for staff who are so strapped for time that they have no other choice than to trust you.
Today, a Palestinian doctor from Gaza shared these photos of a Palestinian child whose body he treated, along with the amputated limbs he removed and placed in a box for burial. https://t.co/yno1VsiYVD
Nobody talks about how "utilities" are no longer regulated. Your electric bill doubled, your water bill tripled, and there's nothing you can do because it's a private monopoly. They privatized the public good, eliminated competition, and now charge whatever they want.
Q: If you're elected governor, what's the first thing you want to do?
FRANCESCA HONG: We want to make sure we call a special session for the legislation on a moratorium on data centers
Journalist Anas Al-Sharif was not just a journalist; he was a true and incredibly brave hero. He knew his life was in danger, yet he continued his work. He did not report from a safe place; he stood in the heart of danger, telling the world about the death, fear, and suffering we were living through.
Anas and his fellow journalists were targeted inside their press tent while they were carrying out their work. He refused many offers to leave Gaza in exchange for stopping what he was publishing, and he refused to remain silent despite being threatened dozens of times. He avoided being with his family because he feared they would be targeted with him, and he wanted to protect them even if it meant dying alone.
I do not know in what country, religion, or race targeting journalists while they are doing their jobs could ever be considered acceptable. More than 207 journalists have been targeted in Gaza alone. Do you realize that number? More than 207 journalists whose “crime” was reporting what was happening to us. The world knew Anas was being threatened. It saw the threats and watched journalists work amid the danger, yet it remained silent. Were we supposed to stop reporting and die in silence so we would not disturb anyone? What kind of disgrace is this?
Anas was wearing a press vest and helmet and carrying his camera. If a journalist who is supposed to be protected by the world can be targeted despite making his identity clear, then what about everyone else? Anas is gone, and the world knew he was in danger. The world did not not know. The world knew, and then it remained silent.
Where were all those laws and slogans about protecting journalists and defending press freedom?
🚨 BREAKING:
“I carry the image of a Muslim child who was killed in Lebanon, who, during my visit to Lebanon, was there holding a sign that said ‘Welcome, Pope Leo,’ and in this latest phase of the war, he was killed. I cannot support war.”
Israel murdered Anas al-Sharif one year ago, today. Anas was often forced to go long periods without seeing his wife and children, as he reported on Israel’s atrocities in Gaza City. Here is footage from a few of the times they were reunited.
