🚨 READ THIS BEFORE YOU VIBECODE A POLYMARKET BOT
AI will build your bot in 20 minutes.
Then it will quietly kill it in 4 specific ways.
Here's how to use it right so it ONLY helps you:
> Betrayal 1 - the backtest lie
AI backtesting ignores order book depth, latency, adverse selection and every other bot competing for your fill.
74% win rate becomes 52% in live trading, every single time.
Never use AI to backtest anything with mid-window logic, stops or GTC bids.
> Betrayal 2 - non-determinism
Same input, different output.
An LLM gives you a slightly different answer every time it runs.
A trading bot must be deterministic - same input must always produce exactly the same output.
Fix: force all config and state into TOML files.
Kills drift, makes your bot debuggable, and stops AI from quietly changing behaviour between sessions.
> Betrayal 3 - complexity creep
AI loves adding layers.
Hedging logic, 6 signals, cross-window rebalancing, exception handlers for exceptions.
Every layer is another thing that breaks in live trading.
If your bot has more than 2 signals you got tricked into complexity.
Strip it back.
> Betrayal 4 - it can't write your edge
AI can write websockets, parsers, order submission, logging.
It cannot write the thing that actually makes money - the entry logic, the regime filter, the timing gate.
That part is yours and it has to stay yours.
Use AI for the plumbing.
Keep it away from the edge.
i built 1,200+ bots doing this wrong before i figured it out.
Now i am sitting at $30k PnL on my sweeper.

AI is the fastest way to build a bot and the fastest way to blow up your account if you let it touch the wrong parts.
Now you know which parts those are.

Pixar burns $200 million and 4 years per film
a 19-year-old spent $124 last month and made $12,345
> Claude wrote the script: 20 min
> Midjourney built the frames: 40 min
> Runway animated the cuts: 1 hr
> ElevenLabs cast the voices: 25 min
> Suno scored it: 15 min
> Make shipped it to YouTube: auto

I put in $300. A bot ran it up to $14k.
And I didn't even write the bot.
Grabbed someone's open-source code off github.
Two hours in Claude Code cleaning it up.
Hit run.
Honestly didn't believe it for a second - figured it'd blow the whole thing in an hour. Minimized the terminal, went about my day. Came back that evening and it wasn't $300 anymore.
Now I just leave the logs open on my second monitor and zone out watching it click trades one after another.
The whole thing is timing.
It jumps in during the last two minutes of a 5-minute round BTC already made its move by then, and the winner is basically locked. It buys that side at 80-99 cents. A couple minutes later it settles at a dollar.
It's like buying a lottery ticket after they already called the numbers.
Here's the whole thing:
1. get in ~2 min before the round closes
2. check that bitcoin already moved $70-100 inside the interval
3. buy with the move, never against it
4. micro-hedge a buck or two, only if the book flips 95/5
Code's just sitting out in the open: https://t.co/TgZkyQ9HXW
Free, right there for anyone.
The only real question is who's actually willing to sit in Claude Code for two hours tuning the bot.
🚨Tom and Jerry cost $50,000 per episode in 1945
that runs near $870,000 today
a 19-year-old spent $124 last month and made $12,345
> Claude writes each scene: 10 minutes
> Midjourney draws every frame: 20 minutes
> Runway animates the chase: 15 minutes
> ElevenLabs voices the cast: 10 minutes
> Suno scores the gag: 5 minutes
> Make uploads it: 0 minutes
$870,000 then. $124 now. same chase.
he runs it from one laptop.
every step is in the article above👇
Stop trusting your backtest.
I'm can guarantee 99% of you are doing it WRONG.
The reason?
You can't backtest the one thing that decides everything: the fill.
Here's what to do instead:
A fill depends on queue position and book depth at that exact second, and none of that lives in the price history.
So your backtest never actually knows if your bid would have filled.
Ask AI to backtest and it just compares your entry price to the resolution price and calls it 80%.
No fills, no slippage, no latency, no other bots.
The number is fiction.
How to spot a fake backtest in two seconds:
> returns in the hundreds or thousands of percent, because 25,000% is a bug, not a strategy
> prints on one slice of data and dies on another
> no slippage, no fees, no fill modeling
If you do backtest, run a 3-fold test, and if it only works on one slice, it's overfit.
I did the same with my bot that is currently sitting at $22k profit.
My public wallet: [https://t.co/hIum0iETkG]
The real validation is incubation, not a backtest.
The pipeline that works:
> logger first, recording real ticks, book depth, and resolutions, risking nothing
> dry-run live at zero balance, so the bot tries to fire, fails on no funds and logs what it would have done
> incubate at $10 real size and watch live PnL against what you expected
> scale only if live matches your model, kill it if they drift apart
A bot that survives two weeks of tiny live trades beats one with a 10,000% backtest.
Backtests lie.
Live money doesn't.
Full guide on how to set up your bot and config it will be quoted below.
Good luck.

This Polymarket bot turned $10,000 into $74,500 in 30 days
No prediction models.
No AI.
No market calls.
Just buying at 99¢ and repeating the same trade every 5 minutes.
Here's how it works:
tagged bot, account created May 14, 2026. just over a month ago.
$10,000 first funding. $75,912 in past-month PnL. $24.4M volume. 99.6% win rate.
every trade in the activity log is the same setup: BUY at 99¢ on 5-minute crypto Up/Down markets. each position pays 1¢ on $1.

multi-asset coverage. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Dogecoin, XRP, BNB. running every 5 minutes around the clock.
just $362 in active positions right now. fully automated.
one playbook, six assets. this is what scaled bot infrastructure on crypto micro-markets looks like.
this trader made $5,068 on @Polymarket weather markets in just 30 days
just by grinding thousands of weather predictions across cities around the world
the strategy was simple:
→ buy weather contracts at low prices
→ take both YES and NO when the odds looked off
→ spread risk across dozens of cities
→ repeat every single day
his biggest single wins were:
Munich temperature market: $13 → $4,082 (+29,819%)
Kuala Lumpur temperature $67 → $3,214 (+4,662%)
Seattle temperature market: $29 → $2,347 (+8,112%)
more than 11,000 predictions later, the account sits at +$5,068 profit
This wallet found the stupidest-looking BTC game on the board

3c entry:
$358 -> $12,265
another 3c entry:
$281 -> $9,585
5c entry:
$535 -> $10,996
The part worth opening is not the profit
It is how many times the same 5-minute mistake appears in the profile
I found 7 free Polymarket trading bots on GitHub for 7 different trading situations…
Each of these bots comes with a detailed step by step setup and usage guide in English:
1. This bot includes 118+ ready to use strategies and tools for trading on prediction markets (Momentum, Binance-Polymarket latency, Penny Clipper, Smart Routing, Expiry Fade, DCA bots and more).
Built by a Cambridge computer science student who won a hackathon with this trading bot.

Trader on Polymarket has built a system based on a single pattern that repeats itself over and over again
> +$23,419 in 1.5 months

The quietest trader on Polymarket earned $141,848

What's the secret? There isn't one.
→ Bets on the temperature in specific cities
→ Buys Yes for 0.1–1¢
→ Trades 8,137 times
→ Largest profit: $14,602 from a single trade
Wellington, Tokyo, Chicago, Seoul, Ankara...
While everyone else is chasing a 100x return, he quietly rakes in $5,000-$14,000 from every bet.
The most dangerous trader is the one who isn't ashamed to be boring.
This 21 y.o. dev closed $21k PnL on Polymarket
He built a trading bot and LEAKED a full guide
His trading bot makes ~$635 / day PASSIVELY
I analyzed his every tip and was SHOCKED
Here's why most bots fail and how to fix yours:
The simplest money on Polymarket is arb.
Math error sitting in the orderbook.
On a BTC Up/Down market, YES and NO have to add up to $1.
One side resolves to a dollar, the other to zero.
Always.
But the book gets messy.
For brief windows YES sits at 47 cents while NO sits at 48.
That's 95 cents to own both sides of a market that pays out a guaranteed dollar.
5 cents locked.
It doesn't matter where Bitcoin goes.
You already won the second both legs filled.
This is what his bot hunts all day.
It scans every BTC, ETH and SOL window at once, waiting for the two sides to sum below a dollar.
His wallet: [https://t.co/aWtaBm3ZZb]
But here's the part most people miss:
Most devs rebuild the whole strategy if it stops working.
But the strategy was never the problem.
It was dirty data feeding fake prices.
Or latency eating every entry.
A 70% win rate that still loses because the entries were too expensive.
Fix the foundations and the strategy you already have starts printing.
The edge goes to the one who fixes their foundations first.
