@9Rasp@WHOOP About the recovery, I did see difference there as well. Last day I wore it on wrist was 6th October which was yellow recovery for me while I have been in green ever since I started wearing it on bicep. But, I wouldn't attribute that lower recovery to wrist band that day.
I thought my WHOOP was underestimating my heart rate.
During my Norwegian 4x4, I was running 9 km/h at 8% incline but sitting around 162 BPM in Zone 3, which felt too low for the effort.
I contacted @WHOOP. Their team found that my sensor placement wasn't ideal and suggested the bicep placement.
Their bicep band was out of stock in India, so I expected that to be the end of it.
Instead, they manually shipped one to me. 👏
While waiting, I put my wrist band on my bicep and ran another test. The data changed dramatically.
Now I'm waiting for the actual bicep band so I can repeat the experiment properly.
I document these N=1 experiments on YouTube too, because if I find something weird in my data, I want to test it rather than just guess.
@9Rasp@WHOOP Got wrist band by default for me. I ordered my WHOOP in July 2024 in India. Maybe they changed.
Agreed on that wrist data part. I have ordered a Polar H10 chest strap to compare the data from bicep. I will be documenting the comparison with WHOOP bicep strap and UH Ring.
