I recently turned 40. Take this for what it’s worth, but here’s some things I’ve learned:
1- It doesn’t matter how many friends you think you have, it matters how many people you know you can trust.
2- Nobody’s ever regretted spending more time with their kids.
3- Make sure you’re strong in whatever faith you do or don’t believe in, because the consequences are eternal.
4- Successful people find a way, unhappy people find an excuse.
5- Time is the most precious commodity we have, and life is shorter than we realize. Spend your time on what actually matters.
6- It’s never as bad as it seems, and it’s never as good as it seems either. Somebody always has it worse than you and somebody always has it better than you…It’s all about perspective.
7- It’s not about getting knocked down 99 times, it’s about getting up that 100th time.
8- A positive mindset and a caring heart can turn around a bad day.
9- Prioritizing our priorities, should be at the top of our priorities list.
10- Forgiveness is contagious.
11- The NCAA College Football game has been gone for 10 years and it’s still better than Madden.
12- I pouted like a petulant child when I turned 30. Now that I’m 40, I can’t wait for the next chapter in life.
@Snappa_On@coachcasey13u That brings back memories. This is the reason I coach. No joke, HBP with game balls. The assistant coach held you there if you moved, had to take 5. 10u was the last year I played baseball. 90s coaches were a different bread.
Yesterday, President Biden announced Dr. Monica Bertagnolli as his intended nominee for Director of the NIH. Guess what? From 2015-2021, Bertagnolli received more than 116 grants from Pfizer, totaling $290.8 million. This amount made up 89% of all her. research grants. #TheRevolvingDoor #Kennedy24
Hats off to Coach Archer on an incredible career on the diamond. 40+ years of coaching baseball in the Kearney community. We appreciate all you have done on and off the field to lead our program and help players grow in the Kearney community.
I have never asked for a Re-Tweet or Follow EVER
BUT
It cost me $200 to write this thread (had to buy a buggie)
So either re-tweet me or come buy my buggie for $300
I am rooting for you!
