⸻

🩺 MEDICAL NOTES:

Toriel: Lactating and nursing eight puppies. Heartworm test negative. She received DA2PP, Bordetella and rabies vaccines, Advantage Multi and pyrantel dewormer. No significant medical problems were documented.

Puppies: All eight are neonatal/underage and extremely small, weighing only 1.1–1.7 lbs. Their medical records classify them as immature.

⸻

🐾BEHAVIOR NOTES:

Toriel is very timid and frightened in the shelter environment. Intake notes describe her as not leash trained. She has continued to avoid handlers, attempt to escape and thrash on leash when being moved.

This appears to be a scared mother trying to cope with an overwhelming shelter environment while caring for eight newborn babies. She needs an experienced rescue able to give this family a quiet, secure place to decompress.

The puppies are neonates and completely dependent on their mother.

📌 PLEDGE INFORMATION

🙏 Nine lives are hanging in the balance — a frightened young mother and eight completely dependent newborn puppies who have no way to save themselves.

This family needs somewhere safe where Toriel can nurse them away from the fear and stress of the shelter.

Please don’t let this family’s story end at BARC. A rescue commitment can save all nine lives together.
