@DarkViperAU Matto: "I will never speedrun RDR2, I can't stand RDR2. Everything is SO SLOW!"
Also Matto a few years later: "I've done nothing but speedrun RDR2 in my freetime out of sheer fun and now hold the world record."

@alxkoo@BrainDumpTweets @ess_n_stuffs It really is something that we have access to so much media that even if the longest lived person had spent every second of their life sleeplessly watching it, they would have died long before getting to the end of it all, and yet some feel they're forced to watch specific things
@kadenox@PirateSoftware@Throwra62490 It would be inexpressibly insane if something about Twitter (I have to assume it's twitter blue's bullshit, not Github) allowed someone to be made an unknowing/willing accomplice in a crypto scam... But that's basically on brand for this hellsite, so I almost believe you're right
@Hecavimu Pete.
1) It's probably stable employment for life no matter which of the 4 you choose.
2) Pete often at least listens to what people say before rambling, so it would be slightly less aggrevating.
3) The Unseen Hand can't penetrate Invisible Line of therapist/paitent separation.
@kmh@atlanticesque And don't get me wrong, I think people living abroad should be able to vote morally, but it's a bit hard to support it legally when it has been explicitly used to game the system.
I'd rather people who live in the country without a full citizenship vote, than financed foreigners.
@kmh@atlanticesque In case you're wondering, why yes, this IS one of the closest friends of the American Republicans who keep acting like there is absolutely nothing worse imaginable than giving more people voting rights!

@kmh@jimb73518 To be fair, they phrased it that it's more likely than even getting started on terraforming mars in the same timeframe, which is reasonable.
A massive asteroid crashing into the planet is at least statistically calculable opposed to inventing the druidic magic terraforming needs.
@Lythero Looking at it, it seems worse than them just not using it.
They link an "inquiry" gmail in their bio that is explicitly named "blueskyhandles", so they clearly seem to have yoinked it explicitly to extort you and probably a ton of other people with large followings for money.
@Andrew699106 @ThePrimalDino @ScottLikesSLS Now let's try with a source that isn't some random journalist, but someone actually working in the space industry.
How about the European Space Agency's definition of 'reaching orbit' in this article titled "Reaching orbit"?

@yFactr I'm with you, but as a regrettably Hungarian, while I agree with you, I am legally obligated to correct the 900 figure, lest the blood of my ancestors manifest a blood clot in my brain in punishment.
(Also the 4th Crusade was just no fair. Who turned on the friendly fire?)
@JFrankleKSC Excellent thinking, Presidente! Let the people gather and bask in the glory of your presence, and enjoy the generous(ly taxed) shade of your great palace! The industry, pfeh, it's smells and smut best stay by the ocean, where it already smells like fish!
