Just know that the phrases “in it for the outcome, not the income” and “it’s for the kids” are just adorably clever ways of exploiting the fact that educators care deeply about their students, and guilt them into accepting that they are grossly underpaid and overworked.

@mattspx I lost my mom suddenly 2 years ago and I am so thankful for all that she taught me and gave to our world. In the moments of grief and sadness, hold onto the light of knowing how your dad has helped others like those mentioned here, it helps. It help ease the pain .

@Roboskellycat Sending you love & light on the hardest of days and for any day to come. After loosing my mom suddenly, I read to think it’s like they are in a room you can’t go to- it helps. I still talk to her as if she is somewhere around me, especially on those difficult days 💗 sending hugs

@SupernovaMomma Kids, especially those who are truly special, easily figure out those who make it easy to be themself. I joke it’s like we have a special light only they can see. I consider it a gift & am so happy to read about others who help make their sleepovers & family hangouts “typical”

@doriecp My late mother let me know when my eldest child asked if Santa was real. She said her immediate response was, “Santa is a real, live magical being”. She instilled in me (& my kids) that Santa is an ideal. We ALL are Santa- helping others believe in the best of mankind & miracles
