Today, we began our computer science journey by playing a game! In this activity, the Sprouts were challenged to work as a team to create a code that would lead me to pick up two objects and end up at my house. @EdgewoodPrimary @PLTWorg

The Sprouts completed a wigwam STEAM challenge today! Students were put into groups and chose one of three different roles. Watching them work together was like watching a choreographed dance. Each student knew their role and responsibilities. It was beautiful! #edgewoodproud

Today, the Sprouts got to experience life as a bat in our brand new Makerspace! We used echolocation and night vision, watched live streams from the Bat World Sanctuary, and ate yummy fruit snacks. We even had a special guest: Mr. Lacey! #EdgewoodProud @EdgewoodPrimary

The Sprouts are working so hard to master two-digit subtraction! We have been using base ten blocks to help us understand the process of regrouping. This partner game, “Roll, Subtract, and Check” was a great and fun way for us to practice! @EdgewoodPrimary

The Roots Learning Club got to be Reader Leaders this week! They loved choosing books that they thought their kindergarten friends would enjoy! #ReadersAreLeaders
