June 27, 2013. Ten years ago today I was broke as a joke and living in a one bedroom apartment in Brooklyn New York. I was just barely making ends meet and trying everything possible to get my brain and my art out into the world. I thought it would be funny to make a vine rapping about the only currency I had at the time- gummy worms, my favorite candy, pouring out of my wallet. I almost deleted the video, because I didn’t think anyone would get it. Glad I didn’t! 😅 It changed my life and I’d like to think, the world. Thanks to everyone who found me through this ridiculous 6 second video and continues to follow me on this weird journey I call my life. I love you all. Grateful doesn’t scratch the surface. @kimbyne I just have massive anxiety about driving. I think living in Slough and then Bristol/Brighton where public transport was pretty good made it easy for me not to face up to it. That and I never had to be designated driver 😂
