أنا مؤمن بأن الأطفال لا يجب أن يُثقلوا بساعات طويلة ترهقهم، بل يجب أن نمنحهم مساحة للتعلم، وللراحة، وللنمو بشكل طبيعي ومتوازن. وقد تحدثت كثيراً عن هذا الموضوع، وأعيد التأكيد على أهميته. فجيل اليوم يحتاج إلى توازن بين الدراسة والحياة وبناء الشخصية، خصوصاً في المراحل المبكرة.

ولا ننسى أن من سبقونا، من الآباء والأجداد والمؤسسين، لم يقضوا ساعات طويلة في المدارس، ومع ذلك بنوا أوطاناً عظيمة، وأسّسوا لما نعيشه اليوم من استقرار وتقدم. المسألة ليست في الوقت، بل في الفهم، وفي التربية، وفي القيم، وفي بناء الإنسان.

كل التقدير لهذه الخطوة، ونتمنى التوفيق لدولة قطر الشقيقة، ولكل دول المنطقة فيما فيه خير أبنائنا ومستقبلهم. وآمل أن نرى مثل هذه المبادرات تتوسع، وأن تُطبّق بما يخدم مصلحة الطلبة ويعزز جودة التعليم.
