@HackHappy1 @thecybermentor SANS training is pretty amazing. The course is more important than the certification. The GIAC certification is really just to show you took and understood the course well enough.

EC-Council is a different model.

@BentleyAudrey No other way to do it in Philadelphia. You'll be there all day if you wait for a car to stop at the crosswalk / state law signs. Even then a car will fly out or nowhere and lose their mind you're walking. Like they didn't choose to drive through campus.

You just have to do it.

@thecybermentor They already have notes on why they weren't moved forward. Any competent professional could put that email together in 1-5 minutes. A blanket email could be 30 seconds each. Even for 100s of people its not much time.

Any other job role would be fired for the excuses they make.

The lack of value from OffSec's deal is that you can outright buy 3 courses and still have saved a minimum of $1500. And 3 OffSec certifications in 1 year is a lot. There's no value to the new subs.

@thecybermentor This would still genuinely be a better value than OffSec's offering. This is about 2 SANS courses. To make OffSec's $5500 plan worth it you'd have to take 4+ courses and certifications in a year.

Most people aren't going to end up doing that. It'll just be free money for OffSec.
