We’re introducing two new ways to record a podcast—and start editing as soon as you hit stop—plus a new AI editing feature that will save you hours.

It’s now much easier to record, edit, and publish a podcast in Descript ⚡️

New vocab word: podfade [PAHD-fade].

Podfade occurs when a podcast slowly stops releasing new episodes and disappears into the listening app ether.

I really am impressed with @descript and @SquadCastFM.

It’s now way easier to change the scope of your edits when you’re adjusting a layer that spans multiple scenes.

That’s kind of a mouthful — here’s an example: Say you want to change the color of your captions, you can now select whether you want that change to apply to your captions just in the current scene, or across all scenes.
