@AlexVanSickel@TrevorScottReal@mtdzen It’s far harder given the value of business changes on the daily. Land / housing is far more stable and a majority only goes up. Also agree that this us stupid and once you pay the house off you shouldn’t owe anything. You pay sales tax at purchase price like any other purchase.
@LibbyTard17 There’s thousands of NGOs, governments, and individuals with that kind of money. World hunger is usually the cause of geopolitical issues and corruption not actual availability of food. Dumping billions into these corrupt nations if anything will cause an even bigger issue.
@EmpireEnjoyer3 This isn’t the Qatari plane they’ve had these on order for a long time. I belive it was a bird meant for a Russian airline but was never delivered and the us government bought it cheap.
The supply / demand for jobs right now is actually pretty close to equilibrium with a trend of job growth. Another argument for it is you’re opening up job opportunity’s for a lower section of people think teenagers working first job for extra spending money, or part time employees who don’t need the job as primary income for the household. This smaller group will actually make the higher income jobs more available for people who need them instead of everyone fighting in the same pot.
It allows much more competition and niche opportunities in the work force.
You also allow wages to more naturally follow inflation rather than waiting for another entity (the government) to make that change for you.
@farigued_zoro@marionumber4 Basically all of the Nordic countries don’t. By having no floor you force both the employee and employer to ask themselves how much a fair wage is. It basically forces you to the negotiating table. With a minimum wage it’s much easier to just set the benchmark at that.
@brickett24@RetiredEnginerd They knew this Elon even hinted at it and the deluge was going to be incorporated by the next flight. There wasn’t a reason to delay ift 1 though. They needed to vehicle off the pad
