@RaGiOYT@JezCorden First off the consumer has always been a second thought with the first being how to maximize profits and it's been that way for centuries. Secondly no one is coming into your home to destroy your books, DVDs, and records. Video games are no different
@GAME_Canterbury@FuuTop1 That not actually true, look at the WiiU and how bad they fumbled during that generation and look at how successful the switch has been without digital library lockin. On top of that there always new gamers entering the market that aren't locked into a platform
@SlipNoodles@lord_azazel0210@DestinLegarie It's funny you think adding a woman is such a shift for "actual fans" when this new trilogy plays nothing like nor matches the tonality or the original games. Just say it with your chest that you don't like women and keep it pushing lil bro
@Durandal7777@Pirat_Nation That's not the reason why PS5 controllers don't work on PC games. Pretty much every game on PC that supports controller uses the Xinput API and nothing is stopping them from supporting the other controller APIs just like how all Sony games do support it
@JezCorden Fortnite crew needs to get off the subscription ASAP! It's pretty much lost all its value with the lowering of included vbucks and the skins aren't all that great. I was subbed before it was added to GP cause I like getting the BP, vbucks, and epic rewards cash back
@TatsumakiFeet@AdamHannan7@tomwarren Yeah, this is the updated UI they recently started using. I can only assume they're gonna bring this over as the new compact mode for the Xbox app
@RinoTheBouncer It would take about 480 years of gaming to match that 100mil, but the thing is I don't need that much money. The 200k+ I'd make from gaming would be more than what I need to live in total comfort and not worry about anything
@JezCorden Sony should copy this approach and launch their open PC launcher that has their games exclusively with cross buy support for both 1st and 3rd party games. With an approach like this it would further incentivize PC only gamers to get a console knowing they already have games
@JezCorden Personally I am of the mindset that exclusives suck for the general gaming community, especially when you think of all the games that are no longer available because the hardware to play them is no longer sold and are legally inaccessible without spending a fortune (1/?)
@JezCorden And that it can be a perfect middle ground for exclusivity and general game accessibility. The move for Xbox going forward should be to stop be to push for 1st party exclusives only on Xbox and PC via the Xbox PC app. (3/?)
@JezCorden On getting original hardware and copies of games that are no longer being made. I understand why these companies want exclusive content to lock people in their stores where they can profit on 3rd party sales. I think Xbox's play anywhere system is the right move (2/?)
@JezCorden I'm curious to see if the gaming community at large will keep same energy if the rumors that Ahsa gonna bring back console exclusives too. Or will people still go on saying Xbox dead
@ST_0057@Colteastwood Sure if it was just the monitor then you could saw that it means nothing, but when you combine that with the "PC ready" feature on PS5 controllers, and releasing games on both console and PC the same day then it all adds up to a big picture with a focus on PC inclusion
