@MaximumADHD The Chat Evidence ID system needs to be fixed. A lot of messages can be taken out of context, and people can end up getting permanently banned over a single message when, at most, it should've been a 1–7 day ban.

So not only did Roblox’s awful AI moderation ban my brother’s account because they thought he was my “alt”.

They just now banned my poor little sister’s account for being linked to me, the only thing shared between us is our wifi. Beware of using the same WiFi as someone who is banned, or else you may be next.

@Roblox this is genuinely outrageous and needs to stop, my whole family is now falsely banned from Roblox and for 60 days I’ve had no support from a human.

We need to talk about Roblox enforcement bans, because they have gotten completely out of hand. 🧵

Enforcement bans are the WORST update on Roblox by far. Nothing else even comes close. The way it works is fucked up. If you end up on the same IP address or Wi-Fi network as someone who got banned, Roblox automatically makes the absurd assumption that you are the same person as the banned account, therefore enforcement banning yours for “ban evading”. And that’s it. Your account is gone.

It doesn’t take half a brain cell to realise just how stupid this logic is. You can’t play Roblox on any public WiFi, like a hotel or a shopping mall or a school, because there’s a 99% chance you’ll get banned. If you connect to public WiFi with Roblox open, banned! If you have an idiot sibling, banned! If you use a public VPN, banned! If you were hacked, and the hacker gets banned, you also get banned!! For doing. Absolutely. Nothing. Wrong. And if you’re enforcement banned, getting your account back is virtually impossible, because of how shitty Roblox’s support and appeal system is. Almost all of the responses you get are AI clankers, and most of the responses actually done by humans are so braindead, they may as well be AI.

You see all the people complaining about chat restrictions and dynamic faces and all that bullshit when, unless you’re someone like KreekCraft, enforcement bans put you at risk of losing your account FOREVER and all your progress throughout many years, all because of something you never even did. I have not seen nearly enough backlash from the community for how catastrophic and destroying this update is. Enforcement bans were introduced in 2023, and since then, Roblox has REFUSED to get rid of them despite the hundreds of thousands of false positives, and the community has said almost NOTHING about it!!!!!

Whichever person at Roblox suggested this update and thought it was a good idea should be fired. On the spot. I generally love Roblox, but this update is pretty much the one and only thing that infuriates me. And the thing is, this update makes 0 sense?? It’s extremely easy for actual malicious users to circumvent. It’s also a terrible business move for Roblox. They lose hundreds of thousands of their most dedicated players who spend so much robux and time on the platform. Their mishandling of false bans directly violates major laws such as the EU Digital Services Act, the UK Online Safety Act and the Consumer Rights Act. So why are they insisting on keeping this horrible horrible update that doesn’t even work against malicious users and only bans those who were truly innocent?

Roblox’s banning and moderation system in general is extremely harsh and faulty. The fact that people can instantly lose their accounts they’ve spent tens of thousands of hours & so much money on in the first place over a silly mistake is extremely fucked up imo. Enforcement bans make the problem 100x worse, because it puts anyone at risk.

Enforcement bans need to go. They need to go right now. To hell. Forever. Everyone who has been enforcement banned needs to be unbanned. And the only way this is ever going to happen is if all the great people of Robloxia come together and speak out against this update, and I mean EVERYONE. If you care about the safety of your account, you should be getting involved. Because you wouldn’t want to be the next victim of this awful update. Especially if you’re one of those content creators or influential people, please speak up about this as well, as you guys are where most of the influence comes from. The wave of enforcement bans continues to this day. Today I've seen dozens of posts with EF bans dated August 2-3. These bans are only getting worse, and we must reach out to @roblox at any cost to fix this immediately.

🫠As I mentioned yesterday, @roblox continues to fix bans related to game bans, but they still haven't taken any action regarding enforcement bans (bans for linked accounts, which in 80% of cases are completely inaccurate, as they link people to accounts the banned user never owned🫠

🔴���️Roblox also completely ignores appeals from those affected by EF, which further proves that they still don't see the EF problem‼️🔴

PLEASE Pay attention to false bans in which a player is mistakenly associated with another account, and the player cannot even appeal this decision!!!
The problem itself began much earlier, even before this ban wave, in October 2025, and continues to this day. This is most likely caused by the system incorrectly recognizing the public IP address provided by public Wi-Fi! Because of this, people are being incorrectly banned. This has affected many people who used public Wi-Fi in a public place and then received an erroneous permanent ban for linking to an unknown account. Also, due to a glitch, not everyone sees a violation in the Violations & Appeals window, although it should appear for everyone banned for an alt account. Since then, after contacting support, the moderators ask everyone to use it. This window

My account @tiffikan was also affected by the first wave of EF bans on March 3rd and is still unfairly banned, which I can't even appeal due to a website error! @Roblox, please restore access to my@tiffikan account, which was mistakenly banned due to a moderation glitch, and completely fix the issue, as if it's not fixed, anyone could get the same mistaken ban again.

@Roblox, please fix this issue and conduct a wave of unbans. The problem is widespread. Many people have already been banned for more than 1-9 months, and due to the glitch, half of them can't appeal the decision. They also need to be unbanned! #Roblox #RobloxDev @Roblox_RTC @KreekCraft @Rolimons
