swear to god, i don't understand how people can watch bnd and think petermj is over
mj wearing the black dahlia necklace again and giving a little smile while watching the same sun rise as peter is PEAK soulmatism
idk i support the idea that everyone already knows that peter parker is broke so instead they focused on how miserable he is. this film feels fresh because they spent time on his isolation and his friends that don't remember him, the most original aspect of this spider-man
One crucial thing BRAND NEW DAY flubs is neglecting to depict Peter’s dire economic straits, which made his NYC struggles so relatable. He’s not hustling photo assignments at the Bugle, struggling to make rent. He’s just somehow got an unlimited tech and Uber Eats budget.
It’s remarkable that you can say Jurassic Park has “no big themes” when Jeff Goldblum looks directly into the camera and says, “Worship of technology with no limits or ethical restraints will be the ruin of humanity.”
and shoutout Peter for swinging MJ home after THAT scene and telling her what happened on the rooftop. that’s exactly what a character who’s a role model for millions of children should be seen doing i’ll always love you Spider-Man
man you have no memory of shows up and tells you he loves you in tears... it's remarkable for her to even believe a word of it. she invites him back into their lives and that's the best case scenario for him. he respects her because is a good man. he just wants them in his life!
the very obvious insomniac inspiration in the fight scenes and his interactions with dewolff and NYC finally feeling like living breathing thing had me losing my mind in the theater
