@TheSportsFundi @rugbyphilosophy Agree and also the challenge system from cricket and NRL. Remove the TMO lottery about when the get involved. The team has 1 challenge. If you're sure you're right then use it. If you're wrong then you can't challenge anymore.

@Rasnelis1 Yeah mostly agree. I'd rather they only stopped the game for obvious ref misses. But they kinda set the standard that once they refer to the TMO then they do go frame by frame. Same for accidental head contact still being a card. The overuse of the TMO leads to inconsistency.

I haven't bought into both sides complaining about the officials all series, but that clearly incorrect call just gifted the boks the series. The early tackle clearly impacted Moorby's ability to catch the ball.

@bluesvalisi Agree with all your "pretty obvious" improvement areas but I think you missed the biggest one - learn how to properly compete for the high kick. This killed us all series. There was a bigger difference between the teams here than even the scrums

Thoughts after #RSAvNZL from a NZ perspective.
1. Don't focus on how good SA are. We must focus on how we can be better.
2. Backs should work on nothing else until at least adequate under the high ball
3. Understand that running away from the forwards creates turnover risk

@Bas_Panic Fair. And this is part of the issue. Not favouring any particular side. But with the TMO it feels like we ref to the absolute letter of the law rather than the spirit every time a try is scored. I'd be happy if that never gets called

@m2pholdings It was weird the officials didn't even look at that. If it's forward pass and early tackle then it's a scrum rather than a bok try, so the early tackle no call still counts.
