Congress & its minions are making a mockery of themselves by complaining of an “undeclared Emergency” on the anniversary of Indira Gandhi’s “declared Emergency” on June25/26, 1975 during which the Constitution was suspended, SC subverted, nationwide press censorship imposed and over 1 lakh opposition politicians, journalists & activists including Vajpayee, Kuldip Nayar & a young Arun Jaitley, jailed. Many for over a year.

In today’s “undeclared Emergency”, SC passes strictures against the govt and opposition politicians freely abuse the govt & PM.

The 1975-77 Emergency was the only time in India’s post-Independent history that democracy actually died. Never forget that.
