In a Manyavar store in Kerala , spoke with the sales guy. Kerala was not a great market for Kurta, or Sherwani in the past. He is saying trends are changed and sales are great because of change in wedding days from 1-2 days to 4. Good news to hear as a Vedant share holder. :-)

@gurkiratsgill As a Keralite, thank you for sharing your experience. Kerala may not be paradise, we have our own unique problems and there are many things to improve be it civic sense or cleanliness but we are improving a bit every year and that is what matters.

Some observations from Bali, Indonesia:

Contrary to what we see in India, most Balinese temples are dedicated to Vedic gods such as Varuna, Indra, and Danu (goddess of water). I haven't seen many Indra or Varuna temples in India.

Chess is a popular game in Bali.

I couldn't spot a single TVS scooter even though they are a big exporter to Indonesia, while there are so many Honda scooters.
