@NHL_Muse Schaefer and it’s not close. Hes likely a top 5 dman already next season, and you get 2 years of ELC. So I save 7+ M on the cap to push while he’s improving, then sign him to a 3 year lower cost bridge deal next summer before he completely explodes more than he has
@MichaelTontchev@biohacker Also, crash dieting for 6 months to lose 30lbs will leave someone in the same position. If you lose half muscle/half fat, you’re at the same BF% with a worse metabolism, just a little smaller.
Gain the weight back, it will be mostly fat, and people are now worse off.
@MichaelTontchev@biohacker Honestly I’ll take the muscle, and habits that it took to build. If we are talking about obese and overweight people, magically losing some fat isn’t going to help. Data shows that, most will just regain ++
Focus needs to be on fixing metabolic health, and lifestyle changes.
@MichaelTontchev@biohacker Interesting take. I don’t think you understand this subject very well, so I am not going to bother debating it with you. Have a good day
@MichaelTontchev@biohacker How are you ever putting cardio and fiber above resistance training and protein? Especially WITH a GLP-1?!
Appetite is low, so let’s add fiber that makes them eat even less calories? While also adding cardio, and signalling the body to get rid of muscle?
@taj1944 Every time he’s on I see why he doesn’t have a job anymore…
He’s been downgrading Bjorck all year because of his height. But this highlights that he didn’t actually watch him or pay attention, probably because of his height… he just wrote him off until Drance makes the case
@NHLFoley I agree, I think he’ll put up close to the same amount of points, while controlling the game at both ends, and probably winning the chip.
However, I’m not sure if hype-wise, he’s bigger than McKenna was after his season at MH last year. I think that’s a bit of recency bias
