Liverpool & Bengals fan / analyst / self-proclaimed expert 😊. Trying to only use this platform for sports, unless I see something too mind-numbing to leave
@IanDoyleSport His position for Germany is (and was for Leverkusen) very often often LW with license to roam and invert. Unless we fix the defensive accumen of our two other midfielders, not sure we can afford to play Wirtz as a pure #10
@LFCTransferRoom@TuttoMercatoWeb I understand he at Milan will be lining up alongside Saliba as Milan surprisingly secures the two best CBs from the PL.
They are both attracted to the opportunity of playing with Olise, Dembele and Mbappe who equally surprising are all joining Milan this summer
@slownewscycle
@empireofthekop While I don’t fully agree on Gapko who I think lacks intensity for Iraola ball, Barnes do have a point around maybe we should not only focus on attack where more can be expected from Wirtz/Isak but rather shore up the midfield (Szobo can btw also play as wing).
@Microinteracti1 As someone with family in the US and a frequent visitor, I implore you to understand that morons on X like Ed are in fact not representative of the US.
The population on X is like the worst 5%
@IanDoyleSport As your article correctly point out there was both a problem unlocking low blocks - and - an inability to stop teams running through us and score.
The second part is why your other article/comment today about LFC not looking at midfielders is so disheartening.
@David_Ornstein@TheAthleticFC What you really want, as a company, is to place the biggest decisions in the hands of people who are leaving and will not be accountable for these decisions
