Tomorrow, 28th March is a day of immense importance for the people of Uttar Pradesh and the NCR. Phase I of Noida International Airport will be inaugurated. This will boost commerce and connectivity. It will ease congestion at the IGI Airport in Delhi.

The Noida airport is among the key greenfield projects in our nation. In addition to passenger services, it will have a robust cargo ecosystem thus boosting the logistics sector.

Hon’ble Minister Shri Ram Mohan Naidu joined the walkthrough of the upcoming Noida International Airport (Jewar) along with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath, and officials from the central and state governments, the airport operator, and security agencies, as part of a review ahead of its inauguration in the near future.

The Minister directed officials to ensure the quick resolution of the last pending issues and to expedite the remaining works, with special emphasis on safety and security.

In view of prevailing fog and low-visibility conditions impacting flight operations, airlines have been directed to strictly comply with passenger facilitation norms, in the interest of passenger safety and convenience. This includes:
• Timely and accurate flight information
• Meals and refreshments for extended delays
• Rebooking or refunds in case of cancellations
• No denial of boarding after timely check-in
• Assistance during diversions and for persons with disabilities (PwDs)
• Timely refunds, baggage facilitation and effective grievance redressal

DGCA has been tasked with ensuring uniform implementation and close monitoring of compliance by all airlines. Passenger safety and convenience remain the Ministry of Civil Aviation’s priority.

Today, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji will inaugurate the state-of-the-art new terminal building of Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati.

The nature-immersive architecture of the airport beautifully showcases the pristine natural treasures of Assam, while the intricate interior motifs take forward Prime Minister's vision of 'Vikas bhi, Virasat bhi'.

Built to accommodate 13.1 million passengers annually, the new terminal is going to set new benchmarks for sustainable and technological operations in India.

Proud to share a major milestone in the development of Bhogapuram International Airport ,Visakhapatnam. A successful calibration exercise was carried out by AAI using the Benchcraft King Air 360, ensuring precision and safety of key navigational systems- ILS, DVOR, and PAPI. These are crucial for safe aircraft landings and operations.

This was conducted with seamless coordination and support between @AAI_Official , INS Dega, and the District Administration. With over 80% of physical work completed, the airport is firmly on track for Commissioning before June 2026 . This world-class aviation hub will unlock immense opportunities for connectivity, jobs, investment, and tourism in North Andhra Pradesh.

मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने आज शासकीय आवास पर उत्तराखण्ड में अपनी सेवाएं दे रहे सभी हेलीकॉप्टर सर्विस प्रोवाइडर्स तथा ऑपरेटर्स, यूकाडा, एएआईबी एवं डीजीसीए के साथ प्रदेश की हेली सर्विस सेवाओं की समीक्षा की। इस दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने उत्तराखण्ड में सेवाएं दे रहे सभी हेली सर्विस प्रोवाइडर्स और ऑपरेटर्स को कड़े शब्दों में स्पष्ट किया है कि हेली सेवाओं के सुरक्षा मानकों से किसी भी तरह का समझौता नही किया जाना चाहिए।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हेली सेवा लेने वाले यात्रियों की अधिकाधिक आंकड़ों से आत्ममुग्ध हुए बिना सुरक्षा मानकों को शीर्ष प्राथमिकता दी जाए। मुख्यमंत्री ने गत वर्षों में हुए हेली दुर्घटनाओं की आडिट व निरन्तर समीक्षा के भी निर्देश दिए ताकि इनकी पुनरावृति ना हो। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य के नोडल के रूप में यात्रियों की सुरक्षा हमारा सबसे बड़ा दायित्व है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने हेलीकॉप्टर के नियमित फिटनेस जांच का सख्ती से पालन, हेलीकॉप्टर टिकट बुकिंग हेतु ठोस व प्रभावी एसओपी बनाने एवं उच्च हिमालयी क्षेत्रों में चलने वाले हेलीकॉप्टर के इंजन के सुरक्षा मानकों का सख्ती से पालन करने के कड़े निर्देश दिए। मौसम के कारण हेली सेवाओं में बाधाओं, मौसम की सटीक जानकारी एवं सुरक्षा के दृष्टिगत मुख्यमंत्री ने केदार वैली के साथ ही अन्य सभी चारधाम वैली में वैदर कैमरा लगाने के निर्देश दिए।

उन्होंने यूकाडा को भविष्य में केवल डबल इंजन हेलीकॉप्टर संचालित करने हेतु ठोस पॉलिसी तैयार करने के भी निर्देश दिए। मुख्यमंत्री ने यूकाडा एवं सम्बन्धित स्टेकहॉल्डर्स को वैष्णो देवी में संचालित की जा रही हेली सर्विस मॉडल का अध्ययन करने के भी निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने अत्यधिक अनुभवी पायलटों को ही राज्य में हेली सेवाओं में रखने के निर्देश दिए हैं।

मुख्यमंत्री ने हेली ऑपरेटर्स को यात्रियों के साथ संवेदनशील व्यवहार बनाऐ रखने की भी सख्त नसीहत दी ताकि दुनियाभर से आने वाले पर्यटक देवभूमि से सुखद अनुभव लेकर जाएं। उन्होंने हेली ऑपरेटर्स एवं प्रशासन को चारधाम मार्गों पर स्वच्छता अभियान चलाने के भी निर्देश दिए। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि भविष्य में हेली सेवाओं की बढ़ती मांग को देखते हुए राज्य में बहुत से हेलीपैड निर्माणाधीन हैं। इस वर्ष अभी तक 66,000 से अधिक यात्री हेली शटल सेवाओं की सुविधा का लाभ उठा चुके हैं।

मुख्यमंत्री ने बैठक में यूकाडा को राज्य हेतु अगले 10 वर्षाे के लिए हेली सेवाओं की कार्ययोजना बनाने के भी निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि पर्यटन एवं चारधाम राज्य होने के कारण हेली सेवाओं की मांग राज्य में अधिकाधिक बढ़ने वाली है। विषम भौगोलिक परिस्थितियों के कारण भविष्य में हेली सेवाएं राज्य का आधार होंगी।

इस दौरान बैठक में प्रमुख सचिव श्री आर. के. सुधांशु, श्री आर. मीनाक्षी सुन्दरम, सचिव श्री सचिन कुर्वे, अपर सचिव श्रीमती सोनिका एवं राज्य में सेवाएं दे रहे सभी हैली एवं चाटर्ड सर्विस ऑपरेटर्स मौजूद रहे।
