The older I get, the more I realize there's a cost of entry to unlock the things you want in life. Freedom is unlocked through focus. Deep relationships are unlocked through hard conversations. Health is unlocked through discipline. Embrace it. Pay the cost of entry with pride.
The people who love you most will push you, not just praise you.
Praise feels good but it doesn't always make you better. The people who truly love you will celebrate your wins and still look you in the eye and say you're not done yet.
Find those people and don't let them go.
Major cheat code for life: Become difficult to rush. The world will pressure you to rush into everything. Rushed decisions. Rushed conversations. Rushed relationships. Rushed timelines. There's immense power in rejecting that trend. Slow down. Create space to think clearly.
Every successful person I know has the same 3 kinds of people in their life:
1. Mentors who pull you forward
2. Peers who push you higher
3. Students who remind you how far you’ve come.
Want to grow faster? Build better circles.
