ગુજરાત વિધાનસભામાં સમાન નાગરિક સંહિતા (UCC) વિધેયક બહુમતીથી પસાર થવા બદલ રાજ્યના સૌ જનપ્રતિનિધિઓ અને સૌ નાગરિકોને અભિનંદન પાઠવું છું. ગુજરાત અને દેશ માટે આ એક ઐતિહાસિક ક્ષણ છે.

આ સાથે જ ગુજરાત UCC લાગુ કરનારૂ દેશનું બીજું રાજ્ય બન્યું છે.

સમાન નાગરિક સંહિતાના અમલના લીધે રાજ્યમાં લગ્ન, છૂટાછેડા, વારસાગત મિલકત અને દત્તક લેવા જેવા મુદ્દાઓ પર તમામ ધર્મો અને સમુદાયો માટે સમાન કાયદાકીય માળખું અમલમાં આવશે.

તમામ ધર્મ અને જ્ઞાતિની મહિલાઓને સમાન અધિકારો મળે તે સુનિશ્ચિત થશે, જેથી તેમના સન્માન અને સુ��ક્ષાની સ્થિતિ વધુ સુદૃઢ બનશે.

સાથે જ, ગુજરાતની ભૌગોલિક અને સાંસ્કૃતિક વિવિધતાને પણ ધ્યાનમાં રાખવામાં આવી હોવાથી કોઈ સમુદાયને અન્યાય ન થાય તેનું પણ વિશેષ ધ્યાન રાખવામાં આવ્યું છે.

સુપ્રીમ કોર્ટના નિવૃત્ત ન્યાયાધીશ જસ્ટિસ રંજના પ્રકાશ દેસાઈની અધ્યક્ષતામાં રચાયેલી ઉચ્ચસ્તરીય સમિતિએ UCC અંગે પોતાનો આખરી અહેવાલ રાજ્ય સરકારને સોંપ્યો હતો.

જેમાં તમામ જરૂરી મુદ્દાઓનો ઝીણવટભર્યો અભ્ય���સ કરવામાં આવ્યો છે, અને રાજ્યના જિલ્લાઓની મુલાકાત લઇને લોક અભિપ્રાયો મેળવીને તથા ઘનિષ્ઠ જનસંપર્ક આ વિધેયકનો મુસદ્દો તૈયાર કરવામાં આવ્યો છે.

મને વિશ્વાસ છે કે, UCC લાગુ થવાના લીધે રાજ્યનો સામાજિક ઢાંચો વધુ મજબૂત થશે. તમામ સમાજ અને સમુદાયના લોકો માટે વિકાસનો વધુ ઉત્��ાહવર્ધક માહોલ તૈયાર થશે.

માનનીય વડાપ્રધાન શ્રી નરેન્દ્રભાઈ મોદીએ આપેલા વિકસિત ભારતના વિઝનને વિકસિત ગુજરાતના નિર્માણ દ્વારા સાકાર કરવા માટે આપણે વધુ ઝડપથી આગળ વધી શકીશું.

It was a very bad experience today with @titanwatches. I went for a genuine reason to replace my digital watch after a year. The dealer is telling me that you will receive 50% cash back and have to only buy an MRP watch and not a discount watch.
